An absolute "must-do" in Belize is snorkeling at Hol Chan Marine Reserve! 🐠

Hol Chan is a protected, 3-square-mile segment of the Belize Barrier Reef that features an unbelievable amount of diverse marine life. It's only about 3 miles off of the coast Ambergris Caye, Belize and is easy to reach if you're staying in San Pedro town.

This was hands down the coolest snorkeling that I've ever done!! Not only did we see TONS of fish, turtles, stingrays (and even an octopus! 🐙) but the coral itself was stunning.

I loved getting this feedback from this Mom of 5 after her family's Spring Break trip. She had been looking for a beach vacation and only had 2 months to plan. She had also realilzed that her kids' passports were expired, so we needed to stick to destinations here in the US.

I planned a vacation for them this at this GORGEOUS villa in Rosemary Beach, FL - on Florida's beautiful Emerald Coast. This was a perfect fit for her family...
🏠 Plenty of space for everyone to spread outeated
🏊🏾Heated private pool for the kids
🏝️ Private beach to avoid the Spring Break crowds
👩🏾‍🍳 Lots of restaurants and activities close by
🐬I also planned a private, sightseeing and dolphin tour for them during their vacation, which they loved!

And for the icing on the cake...I arranged to have the villa pre-stocked with some groceries, so they'd have something to snack on when they arrived at the villa.

It was an absolute joy removing "Spring Break vacation planning" from her long list of things to do. 💕 She was able to relax and enjoy the time with her family.

Planning a cruise isn’t one-size-fits-all… and that’s exactly why I start with a few key questions ✨🚢

Before we dive in, I always ask:
1️⃣ What kind of vibe are you going for — relaxed or fun?
2️⃣ What really matters to you — amazing food, fun activities, or exotic destinations?
3️⃣ Who are you traveling with — kids, other adults, or is this a solo trip?

Because with so many different cruise options out there, the magic is in finding the one that fits you perfectly. 🌊🥂

San Pedro, Belize is one of my favorite vacation spots! 🏝️ But, it's important to know what to expect before you go.

San Pedro is PERFECT for you, if you...

* Don't mind some transit * 🛫
After landing in Belize City, be prepared for another quick flight in a super small plane (like 10 passengers!). I was a little leery of this little plane the first time I flew on it, but once you're in the air the view is STUNNING!

* Don't need an all-inclusive resort * 🍽️
If you're looking for a place to stay behind the walls of an all-inclusive, Belize may not be the best place for you. There are some all-inclusives, but not very many. Which is actually a GOOD THING because while you're in Belize you definitely want to get out and about and check out some of the AMAZING local food!

* Don't need a lot of white sand beaches * 🏖️
Ok...so the honest truth is that although San Pedro is located on the island of Ambergris Caye, it's not necessarily a "beach destination". It's surrounded by plenty of water, but there's not really a lot of super sandy pristine beaches that you'd find in other destinations. The best way to enjoy the water in San Pedro (besides the beachfront bars and restaurants) is via a snorkel trip or a catamaran cruise.
