If you’re traveling on a budget, it’s important to ahead. It’s really hard to plan a trip without knowing how much you’re willing (and able) to spend!

So figure out your first and plan far enough in advance so you can start saving up each month with your trip in mind.

Once you have an amount set in stone, start planning out your accommodations, transportation, food budget, and activities. The more specific you can be, the better!

Be sure to leave a little wiggle room. Surprises do happen and it’s important to be prepared!
