I get asked a lot why we cruise so much. I’m so glad you asked. 😆 One reason our family of four loves cruising: we all get bored staying in the same place for a week. With a cruise, we unpack once and wake up somewhere new almost every day. No worrying about hotels, transportation, or where to eat—it’s all handled. For two adults and two teenage daughters who love variety and adventure, cruising is the perfect way to sample different destinations and discover places we want to come back and explore more deeply later. 🚢

With the release of the new multipark ticket, I figured there is no better time to share my 4 favorite Animal Kingdom hidden gems! First, you know Disney days are long!!! So, start your day with coffee in Africa - specifically Coconut iced coffee from Kusafiri Coffee Shop - the perfect way to start the day! When lunch time rolls around, find your way to Satu’li Canteen in Pandora. This is hands down, our favorite place to eat lunch in the Disney parks! The food is fresh, delicious and beautiful! You have to check it out! And after lunch, be sure to grab a Night Blossom frozen drink from Pongu Pongu. Sooooo refreshing! Before you head back to your resort, stop by Zuri’s Sweets and grab a few of their adorable animal themed treats to take back to the resort for snack time. You can thank me later!!!

Okay friends… our family is about to do something new! 🚢❤️

As many of you know, our family LOVES cruising with Disney, but this time we decided to try a more budget-friendly alternative and see how it compares. We’re setting sail with MSC Cruises! 👀
One thing that really sold us on this itinerary is that we get an OVERNIGHT stay at Ocean Cay, MSC’s private island paradise. 🌴🌊 Most cruise lines only stop at their islands for the day, so we’re excited to experience sunset, nighttime vibes, and a full extra morning there too!

I’ll be sharing all the details along the way-the good, the surprising, the food, the entertainment, the kids’ experiences, and of course how it stacks up against our beloved Disney cruises. 😄
