Etiquette: Do I say what's on my mind? - Rude comments about someone's home is an ultimate no, no. Often times we enter someone's space and whoops we make a comment about how much stuff someone has, how they have decorated or even how they run their households.

The stone age saying if you have nothing nice to say do not say anything at all applies here. Be respectful or be uninvited-at least in my household.

Art is so dope. One piece and you can get so many different perspectives, emotions and stories. This summer the kiddies and I visited Baltimore and I couldn't visit without going to the Baltimore Museum of Art. I try to get the kids involved, ask them what their favorite pieces are, why it is a favorite and what story does it tell them.

Appetizers: Are They Essential? - Recently, my husband and I was invited to a BBQ. The hosts let us know that we could show up anytime (we showed up at 1:00 pm). They were still cleaning and preparing food (that's fine - right?). It's 4 pm, no food, it's 6 pm, no food. It's 7ish and food is ready (beans, ribs and BBQ chicken).

In a Black household, it was always suggested to eat before going out, you never know how the food will taste or if you will like anything. Don't show up hungry, even when the event is supposed to have food. Ironic right? However, how long is too long in having your guest wait for food? Should you offer some chips, dip, etc?

Respectfully, please have appetizers when you invite me over.

RNB Experience has been in limbo, because I'm just in limbo - life has been life.

I lost my spark for planning events trying to chase money, money that never came.

So right now I'm naturally flowing with whatever comes..after all..it is about the experience - RNB Experience.
