There is a rugged, untamed beauty to the Scottish Highlands that simply cannot be captured in a brochure.

Mandy, with DPP, is preparing take clients on an incredible hiking journey through Scotland, and we couldn't be more excited for them.

Traveling through the UK isn't just about historic cities; it’s about stepping out into landscapes that feel older than time itself.

Whether you are walking the misty trails or enjoying a private whisky tasting in a centuries-old castle, Scotland offers an adventure that is both deeply luxurious and wonderfully wild.

Is exploring the Scottish Highlands on your travel bucket list?

Where are the savviest families heading next?

We are seeing a huge shift in how families travel. It’s no longer just about finding a resort with a pool; it’s about finding destinations that offer genuine connection, ease, and a touch of the extraordinary for every generation. The Caribbean, particularly the more secluded islands like Turks & Caicos and Antigua, is providing the perfect backdrop for these milestone family trips. Imagine stepping off the plane and having every detail from private transfers to curated dinners already handled, leaving you to simply enjoy the time together.

Are you team beach relaxation or team active adventure for your family trips? Let us know!

Fall is the new summer. The most discerning travelers are trading the July heat for the crisp air of September and October. Why? Thinner crowds, softer weather, and better access to the rooms and tables that are impossible to secure mid-summer. When we plan your European getaway during shoulder season, we unlock a level of access and ease that elevates the entire experience. Let us take care of that for you. Do you prefer traveling in the peak of summer or the cool of fall? Tell us below!

There is a specific kind of quiet you only find in the bush just before dusk. No pings, no notifications, no urgent emails, just the low rumble of a Land Cruiser and the golden light stretching across the savanna. We call this the ultimate luxury: true disconnection. When we design an African safari for you, we aren't just planning game drives; we are curating moments where the rest of the world fades away, giving you permission to simply be present. Let us take care of the details so you can focus on the roar of a lion instead of the ring of your phone. What is your favorite travel memory where you felt completely disconnected? Tell us below!

I HAD TO SHARE THIS POST.
This is from someone on a private travel group I’m a part of. Nothing to do with travel advisors. I see this all the time. THIS IS WHY YOU NEED AN ADVISOR! Our partners are vetted and this type of issue is exactly why you don’t book an AirBNB overseas.

Backstory: We stayed at an Airbnb in Paris during the historic heatwave. Prior to booking we asked just to make sure they had a functioning A/C. They assured us it was “well equipped with air conditioning ideal for hot weather.” Well, as it turns out it was either not working or it wasn’t truly an A/C system. We complained, they told us they had a technician working on it. We even asked for reimbursement for the remaining days so we could book somewhere. They offered us 30% reimbursement and brought us a Dyson fan which worked better than the regular fans but still hot. We slept with cooling towels every night of our stay with 2 fans blowing at us. We were there 6 nights and it was never fixed which makes me believe they weren’t being truthful on their listing. In my review of the apartment I pointed out that I would not consider that an A/C as it did not cool the place at all. I depend on reviews when picking a place to stay so I point out both the positives and negatives for others as well. Either way today I received this message via WhatsApp.

PLEASE LET US BOOK YOUR TRAVEL. You spend the money to be stress-free. Not to sleep with cooling towels on the trip of your dreams.

There's a profound kind of magic in waking up before dawn on the African savanna. Yes the early wake-up call is absolutely worth it. The hours just after sunrise are when the wildlife is most active, and the sightings are unforgettable.

One of Tiffany’s favorite safari traditions is the bush breakfast. Imagine this: midway through your morning game drive, your guide finds a serene, shady spot and sets up a feast right there in the wild. Sipping hot coffee and enjoying fresh fruit while listening to the distant sounds of nature it's an experience that stays with you forever. We love curating these intimate, meaningful moments for clients who want to connect deeply with this extraordinary continent.

Is an African safari on your travel bucket list, or have you already experienced the magic? Tell us below!

Did you know that Vienna, Austria, has been hosting Christmas Markets since 1296? That makes it one of the oldest and most authentic Christmas Market traditions in the entire world.

The Vienna Christkindlmarkt in front of the Rathaus (City Hall ) is the crown jewel, but our absolute favorite is the smaller, more intimate market inside the courtyard of the Schönbrunn Palace. It is lit with thousands of warm white lights, and the palace's nighttime backdrop is simply breathtaking.

When we plan Christmas Market trips for our clients, we always recommend arriving midweek to avoid weekend crowds and booking a minimum of 5 nights. You need at least two full days to explore Vienna's incredible museum district and the Imperial Palace before you even get to the markets. And yes, the hot glühwein and roasted chestnuts are absolutely as magical as they look in the photos.

Is a European Christmas Market trip on your bucket list? Which city would you want to visit first: Vienna, Prague, or Strasbourg?

Did you know that the Cotswolds in England have a strict rule that no new buildings can be constructed using anything other than the local honey-colored limestone? That is why every single village looks like it was plucked straight from a storybook.

We are absolutely obsessed with the Cotswolds in autumn. The harvest season kicks off in September, the pubs light their fireplaces, and the famous lavender fields transition into the most incredible shades of gold and amber. The summer tourist rush is completely gone, and what is left is one of the most genuinely charming travel experiences in all of Europe.

We love pairing the Cotswolds with a few nights at Blenheim Palace or a private cooking class in a centuries-old farmhouse kitchen. It is the kind of trip where you genuinely feel like you have stepped back in time, but with the most extraordinary food and wine waiting for you at the end of the day.

Have any of you visited the Cotswolds? What was your favorite village?

Drop it in the comments, we are always looking for new gems to add to our itineraries!

🇳🇴not sure if anyone got on the Halaand bandwagon for the World Cup, but I’m always a sucker for a good underdog win. Was so hoping….and in the meantime I became mesmerized by this guy so now my feed is full of him. 🤪. But today I found this and it stopped me in my tracks. We have so much to learn as a country…. Have any of you been to Norway?? Do tell!

Norwegian kids can play organized sports for years before anyone writes down a single score. Official guidelines discourage results tables, rankings, and standings for children up to age 12, and there are no travel teams, no national championships, and no online lists of who beat whom.

Everyone gets a participation trophy. Recognition is built around showing up and improving, not winning, so fewer kids quit early.

It's also cheap. Grassroots clubs run mostly on volunteers and lottery funding, and most parents spend under $1,000 per child a year, a fraction of what a single travel sport can cost in the U.S.

The payoff shows up in the numbers. About 93% of Norwegian teens are or have been members of a sports club, roughly 40 points ahead of the U.S. rate for organized youth sports. And a country of about 5.6 million people, smaller than metro Philadelphia, sits atop the all-time Winter Olympics medal table with more than 400 medals and 140-plus golds.
