What does the most ultra-private, most exclusive island resort in Southeast Asia actually look like? This.

Amanpulo sits on Pamalican Island in the Philippines, in the Sulu Sea, accessible only by chartered flight from Manila. Here's what you can expect at one of the world's most exclusive addresses:

42 private casitas spread across the island, a house reef you can snorkel directly from the beach, dive sites with some of the most remarkable visibility and coral cover in Southeast Asia, and not a single day visitor in sight. The beach is yours, the schedule is yours, and the only transportation on the island is a golf cart.

This is one of the most exclusive trips I plan. Reach out if you'd like to be next.

If a summer reset is on your mind, Rhode Island might be the answer.

Weekapaug Inn is a Relais & Chateaux property in Westerly, Rhode Island, on Quonochontaug Pond, and it delivers on a very specific promise: a restorative coastal New England experience without the crowds that have overtaken most of the region's better-known destinations.

The inn is adults-forward and activities-inclusive. Kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, and naturalist programming are all part of the stay. The dining program takes the local fishing community and farm connections seriously in a way that coastal New England food deserves.

Advisor Tip: Rhode Island is consistently underestimated as a destination. Newport's Gilded Age mansions, the Block Island ferry, and the food scene in Providence all merit time if you're building a few extra days around the stay.

If you’re interested in a New England trip, message me.

Some of the best trips I plan aren't for couples or solo travelers. They're for three generations under one roof, or a family milestone that needed to be done properly.

The options are more varied than most families realize. Safari. Private villa. Small ship cruise. Ski chalet. Luxury ranch. Cultural journey with a private guide. The format matters less than the intention behind it.

The common thread in every great family trip I've planned: intentional design from the start.

If you're planning a family trip and want it to actually work, that's exactly what I do. Reach out to start the conversation.

Some of Norway's most spectacular coastlines have no road access. The only way to experience it is exactly like this.

Hurtigruten has been sailing from Bergen to Kirkenes since 1893, and nothing about the scenery has gotten old. The Lofoten Wall emerging from the sea. The Northern Lights appearing above the deck on a winter crossing.

Hurtigruten is so confident in the conditions that they'll give you a free voyage if the aurora doesn't show. An onboard expedition team that makes every port feel like an insider experience.

This is the trip clients come back from and immediately start telling people about. Let's get it on the calendar.

Most people put Australia on the list and never quite get around to booking it. Here's your sign.

The range in one country is remarkable. World-class cities, ancient wilderness, extraordinary marine life, and a food and wine culture that consistently surprises first-time visitors.

The only thing worse than never going to Australia is waiting another year to start planning it. Message me to get started!

I've sent many clients to Iguazú Falls. Not one has come back saying it wasn't worth it.

Gran Meliá Iguazú is the only hotel located inside the Argentine national park, putting guests closer to the falls than any other property in the area. That means early access before day visitors arrive and a completely different atmosphere once they leave.

Staying on the Argentine side also gives access to the Brazilian perspective, which offers a panoramic view that's entirely different from the up-close experience. The falls span nearly 2 miles and include 275 individual cascades.

Advisor Tip: Buenos Aires, the wine country of Mendoza, and Patagonia all connect well with a few nights here.

Message me to start planning!

One of the most important things I do when planning a trip: make sure the timing is right. The same destination can feel completely different depending on the month you go.

Shoulder season versus peak. The difference between crowds and calm. The wildlife migration that only happens once a year. The bloom that lasts two weeks. The weather window that makes a remote destination actually accessible.

Getting the timing right isn't just a nice-to-have. It's often the difference between a good trip and an exceptional one.

That's something I pay close attention to with every itinerary I plan. If a destination has been on your list, let's make sure you're going at exactly the right moment.

South Africa is one of the most itinerary-flexible destinations in the world. Here's how I recommend experiencing it:

Cape Town first. It's one of the most visually striking cities on earth, and the design hotel and restaurant scene here has matured significantly. Table Mountain, the Atlantic Seaboard, the Cape Peninsula. Most clients who go for a few days wish they had more.

For wildlife: the private reserves around Sabi Sands share an unfenced border with Kruger National Park. Big Five sightings are among the most consistent on the continent, and the private reserve experience means dramatically fewer vehicles per sighting than in the public park.

For wine: Stellenbosch and Franschhoek are genuinely world-class. The estate stays in Franschhoek in particular, with long lunches, cellar visits, and mountain scenery that doesn't match most people's image of Africa at all.

Most itineraries I design for South Africa cover all three. If Africa is on your travel bucket list, let's talk through what makes sense for your trip.

Here's something most people don't realize when booking Los Cabos: the majority of beaches in the area aren't actually swimmable. The currents along the Corridor are too strong.

Hacienda del Mar sits on the Sea of Cortez side, which means calm, clear, genuinely swimmable water right in front of the property. That one detail changes the whole trip for a lot of clients.

The rest of the property continues to deliver from there. Five pools, 11 restaurants and bars, a spa offering volcanic stone massages and traditional temazcal rituals, and a bar stocked with over 100 tequilas. The original restaurant, Pitahayas, opened in 1995 and became such a destination that they built the hotel around it five years later. There's also an underground wine cellar that seats eight for private dinners, which is one of my favorite things to book for clients.

If Mexico is on your calendar, reach out to start planning.

DIY travel planning looks free. It rarely is.

Researching hotels, reading through reviews, comparing itineraries, and figuring out which experiences are actually worth booking rather than just well-marketed. A two-week trip often represents 20 to 30 hours of work before anything is confirmed. For most people, that time has a real cost.

Then there's the invisible cost: what you don't know you're missing. The hotel that looks strong online but has a known service issue. The guide who changes how a destination feels entirely. The upgrade that was available and simply never offered. The reservation that could have been made three months out and wasn't.

And the small mistakes that add up. A transfer that doesn't account for timing. A sequence of stops that requires unnecessary backtracking. A decision made without context that costs more to fix than it would have cost to get right from the beginning.

Working with a travel advisor doesn't just save time. It changes the quality of the trip, and often the cost of it.

If you're planning something and want it done correctly, that's exactly what I'm here for.
