There is nothing in the world like the Singapore Airport. From the huge indoor waterfall to the latest in airport design this Changi -Jewel AirPort has it all. The 4 story mall with every retail store out there and over 25 eateries is an experience to behold as far as airports go. I’m here for about 8 hours waiting for my Korean Air connection then connecting to Delta for the 12 hour flight home. More photos to come. The end of a great cruise from Australia to Bali to Thailand then Malaysia ending in Singapore. Great audiences mainly from Australia made it all worthwhile.

Welcome to Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. This is a remarkable city and much larger than you would expect as it is relatively small country. It is a relatively new city and just coming into its own and just coming into its own in the high-tech world. Very friendly and welcoming and tourism is their number for source of income, but growing rapidly. They lead the world and rubber production as well as 10 and palm oil so they are touching lives all over the world on a daily basis.

Penang Malaysia

Today we are in Penang in Malaysia, and this city was a British stronghold at the same time that Singapore came into being and at one point was the largest city in Malaysia. We had a wonderful day on the excursion, looking at the massive Buddhist Temple complex, which is the largest in southeast Asia and, larger than the Buddhist temple compound in Bangkok by quite some bit. The city right now is a hub of commerce due to the huge port and the location for so many corporate multinational corporations due to the easy access from both the ocean and the air and the close proximity to Singapore to Bangkok and to most of Southeast Asia. The coral Princess cruise itself is an outstanding cruise in terms of selection of ports and then the excursions that are available. There are about 2000 passengers of which about 80% are Australian and they have really appreciated my presentations with both of the last two presentations having about 500 in attendance. my last presentation was on Singapore was praised by a number of people in terms of what I covered that they did not know about Singapore so hopefully they will enjoy their visit there.
