I’ve been quiet for the last 3 months.

For more than a decade, my life was constant movement. Airports, time zones, work, building. Then everything stopped.

I went home to celebrate the life of my uncle. 🤍 The day was full of love and family, and within 24 hours I was struggling to breathe and being rushed to the ER.

I was hospitalized with a pulmonary embolism, and my life shifted from nonstop motion to hospitals and complete stillness. For the past several months, it’s been slow mornings, simple routines, and learning how to sit still.

That kind of pause changes how you look at things. You stop holding onto small stuff that doesn’t matter. You try to be present in the moment you’re in. You make time for the people you love and don’t take any of it for granted.

While my body was healing, my mind stayed active. I was planning, reflecting, and rethinking how I want to move going forward.

This video explains what I’ve been up to during that time and how recovery reshaped my outlook as I plan ahead for 2026. 🌍 There’s unreleased travel content from Zambia, Kenya, and Ghana coming soon.
