It's a new chapter for Twelve12 Travel and I'm excited to share my refreshed branding which better reflects what my travel planning has always been about - warmth, grace and beauty.

The swan is taken from a cherished memory of my Oma's powder room at 1212 Suffolk Drive (the reason my company is named Twelve12) and is emblematic of my approach to hospitality - effortless on the surface, even when the work underneath is anything but.

The colors and fonts signify the earth, organic matter and sensory elements that bring to mind something hand-chosen, sun-warmed and very personal.

This is the way I want your travel to feel when you partner with me to plan your next getaway.

The Icons of Summer. These hotels have been on the world’s best lists since I worked in one of the top hotels in the world in the 90s and there’s a reason they book up months or a year in advance for their summer season and the same guests return year after year. I’ll let you in on a little secret though - they’re even better after the crowds go home! ☀️🍉

South Africa has it all. Direct flights to and from the US, the Big Five plus penguins, a world class food scene, fabulous hotels and luxury lodges and camps and the winelands. It’s a great place to start your safari addiction.

I think my Africa safari immersion did nothing but create an even bigger monster in me that must go explore every nook and cranny of an enormous continent. A few places out of hundreds stood out to me and these are those standouts. An elephant rescue/safari camp combo, a private island for ocean safari, a lakeside lodge where you can trek for chimps, a woman-owned retreat you can reach by train, and a brand new, high design yet easy access lodge at the gateway to the Serengeti. Jambo and let’s get at it!!
