BIG NEWS FOR DISNEY CRUISES. 👀

✨ Vaccination Requirement Change - Disney Cruise Line ✨

Beginning September 2, 2022 for sailings departing US and Canadian ports guests under the age of 12 are NO LONGER required to be vaccinated. Those 12+ are still required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Unvaccinated guests will be required to test negative 3 days prior to sailing as well as test negative at the port before boarding.

My middle child loves space and aeronautics. NASA, Star Wars, military history….he is 9 and he eats it all up - so I try to feed this passion whenever possible! Love to travel? I’ve got GOOD NEWS. Things aren’t “normal” but it’s getting easier to travel the globe. Check out the latest updates:

🇳🇱 Travelers to the Netherlands who have received a booster no longer need to quarantine
🇬🇧 Vaccinated travelers to the UK no longer need to take a second test on arrival
🇳🇴 Norway lifted its quarantine and testing requirements so there are no entry restrictions
🇨🇾 Cyprus and 🇸🇪 Sweden eliminated their testing requirement for vaccinated American travelers
🇦🇹 Austria has scrapped testing requirements for those who have also received a booster
🇵🇷 Vaccinated travelers to Puerto Rico on domestic flights no longer need to test before arrival
🇲🇦 Morocco reopened today, February 7 with no quarantine for vaccinated travelers
🇵🇭 The Philippines will reopen on February 11 with no quarantine for vaccinated travelers
🇦🇺 Australia expects to reopen to tourists by mid-April (no word on what rules will be in place)
🇨🇭 Switzerland announced it may drop its testing requirements for vaccinated travelers by March
🇩🇰 Denmark has lifted all Covid entry restrictions for vaccinated travelers
🇬🇷 Greece has removed its test requirement for vaccinated travelers

🚢 NEW Disney Cruise Line Has Announced EARLY 2023 Itineraries and Departure Dates

In early 2023, Disney Cruise Line will return to top tropical destinations in the Bahamas – including Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay – as well as the Caribbean and the Mexican Riviera, delighting Guests of all ages with one-of-a-kind vacations at sea. A variety of enchanting itineraries will set sail coast-to-coast from U.S. home ports including Miami and Port Canaveral, Florida; New Orleans; Galveston, Texas; and San Diego.

A quick note...Disney cruise pricing is dynamic like an airline or hotel, not fixed. For the best deal ***book early*** as prices will rise as the ship fills up. There is a LOT of pent-up demand so we expect cruises to fill quickly. If you think you might want to book let me know so I can get you a quote. Don’t wait.

When planning Disney vacations I am frequently asked if staying at a Disney Resort is really worth it. Oh yes, my friend, yes it is. The magic begins at check-in and the whimsy, wonder and extra pixie dust extends to every piece of your stay. Moments like this are precious and we won’t stay anywhere else. ❤️

I have a child with ADHD with some sensory issues that pop up around loud crowd noise and she LOVES Disney. Even neurotypical children and adults can become overwhelmed with the noise, sights, smells and crowds inside the parks. Disney has you covered. In each of the four parks there are designated “quiet areas” to take a break. Ask any cast member where to find the closest area for a breather to calm down and regroup. Pictured is the Moroccan fountain area of Epcot in the World Showcase. It is quiet, peaceful, cool and shaded with beautiful mosaic art and a fountain. It generally only has a few people around, save for a few girls taking pictures for Instagram - like me, for example. 😆
