If you’re visiting Ubud, Bali, you have to check out the Satria/Satriya agrotourism experience—this was honestly one of the highlights of my trip.
They walk you through the entire process of how their famous “poop coffee” (Kopi Luwak) is made—from the coffee plants, to the roasting process, and even introduce you to the civet (the animal responsible for it all). It’s super interesting and way more educational than I expected.
The best part? The tasting experience. For just $5, you get to sample a wide variety of teas and coffees, including a chance to try the Kopi Luwak—which normally goes for around $100 elsewhere. The flavors were incredible, and the whole setup is relaxed, scenic, and welcoming.
Even better, the tour itself is free. No pressure, no gimmicks—just a genuinely fun and informative experience.
