🇫🇷⚓️ LuAnn has arrived in Saint-Nazaire!

Today she’s exploring the flavors of western France, sampling local food and drinks, while also stepping back in time to discover the massive former N**i submarine pens that still stand along the harbor.

And in a fascinating twist of history, Saint-Nazaire’s shipbuilding legacy continues today—these waters are still home to the construction of some of the world’s largest modern cruise ships! 🚢

From WWII history to French cuisine to watching today’s cruise ships come to life, Saint-Nazaire is a perfect example of how the past and present can exist side by side. 🇫🇷✨

✨ LuAnn sailed into Saint-Malo, France today! 🇫🇷⚓

This beautiful walled port city on the Brittany coast is one of France’s most fascinating destinations. Saint-Malo is famous for its impressive medieval walls, rich maritime history, and the legendary French privateers (known as corsairs) who once called the city home.
