Pardon My Travel Recognizes Community Leader

Pardon My Travel, LLC recognizes Tamara Allen for her role as a community leader and an active volunteer in The City of Tuskegee, Alabama. Tamara’s leadership is always demonstrated in a variety of ways, through both formal and informal roles.

The Owner of Pardon My Travel, Portia Dionne, and Tamara are high school classmates. Portia recognized Tamara’s always willing attitude, dependability, and smiling face whenever she volunteered or was asked to take on a task. Portia teamed with fellow classmate, LeeAnn Offen, and the MeKj Hope Foundation, Inc. to surprise Tamara with a virtual recognition. With the assistance of Tamara’s daughter, the surprise was a success.

Tamara and her family received a full-complimentary weekend getaway to the Ga***rd Opryland Resort in Nashville, TN. When asked about her recognition, Tamara responded with, “I have never been this speechless in my life. I love serving the community. I simply do it because I love it. I cannot say thank you enough. Thank you, thank you!”

FYSA: If you’re planning on traveling outside of the USA, effective on January 26, 2021:

Before departure to the United States, a required test, combined with the CDC recommendations to get tested again 3-5 days after arrival and stay home for 7 days post-travel, and;

Air passengers are required to get a viral test (a test for current infection) within the 3 days before their flight to the U.S. departs, and provide written documentation of their laboratory test result (paper or electronic copy) to the airline or provide documentation of having recovered from COVID-19. Airlines must confirm the negative test result for all passengers or documentation of recovery before they board.

CDC provides credible COVID-19 health information to the U.S.
