There is nothing we love more at Travel with the Kees than bringing people together—and this time, it’s personal. 🥂✨ We’ve officially secured this stunning coastal retreat for our own family getaway this May!

We curated this space specifically with our crew in mind. With that private pool for the kids, breezy balconies for the adults, and plenty of room for everyone to gather, it’s the perfect backdrop for a double celebration: Jett’s Birthday and honoring all the incredible Moms in our family for Mother’s Day. 🐚☀️

Over 30 people came together to celebrate you, D! 😘
From old Navy buddies flying in as surprises, to cousins, Aunts, Uncles, all your brothers, your sister, Moms, family, and friends, we truly had a time! Jamaica provided the perfect backdrop to honor you and served as the ultimate finale to our travel agency’s year.
A huge thank you to for being such incredible hosts and making sure our large group felt right at home. 🇯🇲✨
I’m so proud of every group we hosted this year. As always, we learned A LOT, but there was no better way to close the books than with this celebration. I love you, D!

Follow along our stories to see the best way to get from Miami to Bimini (Bahamas).

A few things we ALREADY learned:

1. Get to the port early. The terminal doors at Port Everglades close 1hr prior to departure.
We got there at 8:07 and the ferry left at 9am. Thankfully we were still okay but I wouldn't recommend getting there past 8am. The guys at parking & the terminal door were so nice saying "it's okay, you are on vacation... you will make it". We needed that especially for the cost of this trip.

2. You will need your passport & tickets. There are two ways to get to Bimini - Ferry & Seaplane. We chose the ferry but the costs are still high 😩. This is not a $50.00 ferry... for costs go to

Check the calendar as they don't operate every day. We are doing a day trip, there are lots of people that are going for a few days.
3. The trip is 2hrs. If you get sea sick, please take Dramamine 🤢
