We have covered Sun Palace - let's talk Moon Palace 🌙

I'm gonna be so real with y'all - I was a little overwhelmed by the size of this resort! It's three sister resorts in one:
💪🏼 The Grand - nicest and biggest with the most to do (water park, bowling alley, you name it)
🌅 Sunrise - mid-size and absolutely beautiful
🌴 Nizuc - smallest, but beautiful design

When you stay at The Grand, you get access to both Sunrise and Nizuc as well. When staying at Nizuc or Sunrise, you get access to either one, but need a day pass to go to The Grand (and if the water park and such are a big driver for you, I would recommend staying at the Grand).

Who are these resorts for?! Families! Kids under 17 stay for free! Bonus for those with an avid golfer in the family (huge and gorgeous golf course on property!). You truly can never run out of things to do here - I genuinely think I could be there an entire week without repeating activities. They have a ginormous water park, amazing kids club (they did let us go inside and play a little LOL), bowling alley, karaoke, a tech/gaming lounge, tons of pools, even a huge bouncy house obstacle course filling an entire convention room. I hope this paints the picture of why I was impressed but a little overwhelmed! 😂

The restaurants at this resort were also some for the books. I was so impressed how they managed to have the sheer scale of things to do while also doing everything so well. The level of service across Palace has really blown me away! Here's a deal for a family (2 adults, 3 kids):

Let’s talk food at Palace Resorts 🥗

Transparently, I was expecting it to be meh. Like good enough to be worth eating but nothing worth coming back for.

Now I am here to bare my soul and eat my words 😂

The food was genuinely delicious, fresh, interesting, and ABUNDANT. They offered many options, accommodated all kinds of dietary needs beautifully (allergies, gluten free, vegetarian, etc.), and I never felt like I was eating the same things over and over.

The food was also so easily accessible, whether it was room service that you could order ahead in the app, eating a burger by the pool, grabbing ice cream on your way out, or stopping at the buffet. I was there for 5 days and still didn’t get to try everything I wanted to!

Sun Palace offers 4 restaurants for dinner - Mexican, Thai (my favorite), Fuego (steakhouse), and Italian (my runner-up). The sushi from the Thai restaurant and the Tiramisu from the Italian restaurant were some of the best I’ve had!!

I would be remiss to not mention the incredible staff!! They were kind, anticipatory, attentive, and frankly so fun. Special shoutout to Gabby at the Thai restaurant!

All this to say - the food was far from disappointing. It was truly one of the highlights of the trip!

Not to be dramatic, but having to feed myself today at home has been a bummer 😂😂

Christmukkah in July continues! Day 7, and we’re heading to Europe for a totally different kind of holiday magic. Castles and Christmas markets and maybe even some snow??

Christmukkah in July continues! Day 6, and we are trading beaches for city lights 🗽🎉

There is NOTHING like NYC over Christmas, and there's no better home base than the Lotte New York Palace. Picture this: a historic, drop dead gorgeous hotel set right across the street from St. Patrick's Cathedral, so many rooms actually look directly out onto it, twinkling lights and all. Oh, and it's steps from Rockefeller Center, Fifth Avenue shopping, and Central Park, so you can walk to basically everything on your Christmas in the city bucket list. SIGN ME UPPPP!

Christmas/Chanukah in July continues! Today takes us to a brand new, fully renovated resort in Cancun.

Let’s talk about Beach Palace, a longtime family favorite in the Hotel Zone that just underwent a massive multi-million dollar renovation 😍😍 Every guest room has been fully redone, plus there’s a brand new adults-only rooftop oasis with two pools and a rooftop bar, and the water park area has been upgraded with a bigger main slide and two new flumes for the kids!
