Can we talk about how DIFFERENT a resort hits after dark?! 😍💙

We stepped out onto our balcony at Secrets Playa Mujeres and were greeted by this view…the huge resort pool glowing royal blue, palm trees, nighttime air and that Mexico breeze. 🌴✨

And yes, I stood right there and enjoyed every bit of it. 😂 Sometimes you don’t need an excursion, a show or even another cocktail. Sometimes the balcony IS the entertainment.

POV: Came to Florida for WORK. And they definitely made sure I WORKED. 😂😩💻

Meetings all day, every day for an entire week. No beach days. No excursions. No cute little vacation itinerary.

But when the workday ended? I made sure I caught that sunset. ☀️❤️

Sometimes work-life balance isn’t about having hours to yourself. Sometimes it’s finding a few minutes in the middle of everything else and saying, “THIS little piece of the day belongs to me.”

And in Destin, Florida, those few minutes looked like this. 😍

Stayed sane because of THIS. ☀️

Life been LIFE’N… so sometimes you have to get on a catamaran, find some turquoise water and DANCE! 😂💃🏾🌊

Some of the best moments in life aren’t the perfectly planned ones. They’re the ones where you catch yourself laughing, dancing and realizing, “Dang…I’m really out here living.” 🥹

This was somewhere near beautiful Isla Mujeres, Mexico, with the Caribbean Sea showing ALL the way out in the background. 😍🇲🇽

Take the trip. Laugh loud. Dance badly if necessary. 😂 And when joy shows up, don’t be too busy to enjoy it.

Marriage Tip #347: When your wife says, “Can I taste yours?” just know there is absolutely NO guarantee that plate is coming back. 😂😂

Because why am I moving MY perfectly good plate out the way like I didn’t order food of my own?! 😭 Sir, I’m just trying to make sure you made the right selection for US. 🤷🏾‍♀️😂

One thing about an all-inclusive resort…I’m sampling EVERYTHING. Yours included! 😂

So somebody said my cruise videos were a little DRY… 👀

And because I believe in listening to constructive criticism, I decided to add a little WETNESS to the content. 💦😂

Here I am aboard Utopia of the Seas, minding my grown, tax-paying business… flying down the Typhoon waterslide like somebody’s unsupervised child. 🤣🛝🚢

Because listen… I didn’t pay cruise money to sit around looking cute the WHOLE time. Sometimes you gotta put the phone down, get on the waterslide, and remind yourself that FUN does not have an age limit!

There. Content officially moisturized. 💦😂

We’re on a catamaran in Mexico. 🇲🇽🌊

Music: BUMPING.
Drinks: FLOWING.
People: DANCING.
Vibes: IMMACULATE. 💃🏾🥂

Then the camera pans over to our good sis…

KNOCKED. OUT. 😴😭😂

Ma’am!!! We are in the middle of the Caribbean Sea cutting up and you done turned this catamaran into your own personal sleep study?!

But you know what? I ain’t even mad at her. 😂 Vacation is supposed to give you what YOU need. Apparently we needed a party…and sis needed approximately 2 hours and a pillow!

Baby, all I’m saying is…if you greet me with a COOL towel, a WARM cookie AND a glass of champagne, we are already off to a beautiful start! 😂🥂🍪

We hadn’t even gotten good and settled at Secrets Playa Mujeres and the hospitality team was already speaking my love language.

Because why did I take one sip of that champagne and immediately know…

“Champagne and cookies?! Oh yeah, WE IN THERE!” 😂🙌🏾

It’s the little touches for me! And THIS is exactly why the arrival experience matters when you’re choosing an adults-only all-inclusive resort in Mexico. Vacation mode was officially ACTIVATED. ✈️🌴🥂

Nothing humbles a cruiser faster than walking back to your cabin and seeing those luggage tags waiting on the bed. 😭💔

One minute you’re planning tomorrow’s breakfast… the next you’re realizing tomorrow is debarkation day.

No matter how many cruises I take, this moment never gets easier.

Who else gets a little sad when those luggage tags show up? 🚢👇

One of the coolest little surprises at Secrets Playa Mujeres wasn’t a big attraction at all…it was the contactless room service cubby! 🍽️

Your food is delivered right to the cubby outside your room, so you can grab it whenever you’re ready without anyone knocking or interrupting your relaxation. It’s such a simple idea, but it made our stay feel even more private and convenient.
