student Karena Heitzman will be following her lifelong dream to design and build theme parks by moving to Orlando, Florida, where she will be working as an architectural designer in the themed entertainment industry upon graduation in May!

“Never tire of your dream,” is the advice she would give all incoming freshmen to Auburn University’s College of Architecture, Design and Construction. In addition to excelling at her classes, Heitzman has been involved with the CADC Ambassadors as well as the Theme Park Engineering & Design group, serving as president for both organizations during her fifth year.

Working with an AU Building Science Sevice learning class and outreach leaders from Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, HDA provided a permit set of drawings for this pavilion in Opelika. Yesterday was the first food delivery to residents in the new pavilion.

One of the trickiest boathouse builds yet.. built on a 45* angled lake bed that drops.. deep water.
Our customer has built this amazing home and installed a tram system.
A must see this summer on the boat. Pictures do no justice on the scale of slope this is.
