A young George Washington once stood here, not knowing what it would all become.

On Memorial Day, it’s a reminder that every story of sacrifice started somewhere.

In Ohiopyle Pennsylvania, we found nature’s version of a waterpark… and yes, Nick had to test it 😂

A natural rock waterslide, cold rushing water, and just enough chaos to make it fun.

Okay this is not my typical outdoorsy adventure… but tell me this doesn’t count 😅

Watching kids (and your husband!) shoot hoops on the actual court of the Cleveland Cavaliers at a watch party… for $5?!

Proof that adventure doesn’t always mean mountains or oceans—sometimes it’s saying yes to something unexpected right in your own city.

And honestly… this might be one of the more fun “detours” yet.

Stopped on a quiet trail and found this view… a still lake covered in morning mist, with nothing but birds and insects in the background.

No crowds. No noise. Just one of those moments that makes you slow down without trying.

Sailing across the Mediterranean Sea on our way to Ashdod during our Holy Lands tour in 2023.

It’s wild how peaceful it looks… knowing how much history these waters have carried.

Trips like this hit differently—especially looking back, knowing seasons change and not every place is as easy to visit as it once was.

Taking the ferry over to South Bass Island with our little camper had me way more nervous than I expected 😅

I’m over here double-checking everything… and then a full-on horse trailer rolls on like it’s nothing.

Instant perspective shift 😂
Sometimes you just need that one moment to realize—you’re fine.

Adventure doesn’t always start confident… sometimes it starts with “I hope this goes okay” and turns into the best memories.
