POV: You’re adventure traveling with your husband and suddenly 25 mph feels like a very reasonable speed limit. 😂

Nick: “You notice when I go over 25?”
Me: “I notice EVERYTHING.” 😂

Apparently my role in adventure travel is navigator, photographer, and speed-limit enforcement officer. 🚙⛰️

You married someone who is always down for an adventure… even when neither of you knows what you’re doing.

One of my favorite things about adventuring with Nick is that I never really know what we’re going to do.

Apparently… neither does he. 🤣

Maybe that’s the secret to a good adventure—and a good marriage.

Find someone who will happily say “let’s go” without needing to know exactly where you’re going.

I saw the beavers staring at me from the rafters and thought, “Okay… this is a little creepy.” 👀🦫

Then I realized they weren’t the weirdest thing in the room.

Wait for it… 😂

Apparently my husband saw the beavers and thought, “I can do that.”

Marriage is just finding someone who will happily make a fool of themselves with you in public. ❤️😂

They say couples who experience new things together build stronger relationships.

So we hike to a beautiful waterfall, take in the scenery, and Nick decides to drink straight from the glacier. 🏔️💧

Was it refreshing?
Was it safe?
Did it immediately cause him to lose control of his body?

Who knows.

But after years of marriage, I’ve learned that the best memories usually aren’t the perfect ones.

They’re the ones where you’re exhausted, slightly ridiculous, laughing until your stomach hurts, and experiencing something incredible together. ❤️

Here’s to choosing adventure—and choosing each other—over and over again.
