WISDOM WEDNESDAY
"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrowmindedness." - Mark Twain
I will never forget my first time in India. Needing a restroom, a kind woman pointed me in the right direction. But.... I could not find it. I was not seeing where it was. Viewing my struggle the kind woman approached and led me to a room completely covered in small tiles, and a water spicket next to a hole in the floor. This day, like so many other in my world travels, my perspective was stretched.
Not everything and not everyone is the same. Our world is an array of color, flavors, sounds and textures. It is so beautiful! Experiencing these differences broadens our perspective and perception. We gain an appreciation for all humanity.
So, travel. See the world and savor the kaleidoscope of its delights!
