When someone tells you a thing to do or says God said... You must take it back to God for the confirmation. Stop just doing what people told you and you didn't seek God for the clarity for yourself. You'll end up moving out of his will because maybe he didn't say what you were told or the timing wasn't right. God does send people to speak into your life, it's up to you to pray, discern, and recognize if it was a confirmation of what he's already spoken. Get to the point where the voice you rely on more is God and not man.
