Recommend ⭐️ Hotel Floren - Florence, Italy 🇮🇹 I had the pleasure of staying at the Floren after booking it for my clients. Did not disappoint! An easy walk from train station - Santa Maria Novella. ⭐️ King beds - bonus for Europe. ⭐️ Spacious bathrooms. ⭐️ Outstanding breakfast buffet ⭐️ Friendly & helpful staff ⭐️

Said goodbye to my travel buddy Margie Durham and flew to Florence, Italy 🇮🇹 for the solo part of my 4-week European adventure. ⛪️ The Duomo, bell tower, and Baptistry is breathtaking! Walked to Plazzo Vecchio to see the original spot where the statue of David was placed from 1504-1873. ⭐️ Toured the royal palace di Palazzo Vecchio. The Art!!! Wow 😳 To see original artwork and ceiling frescos so beautiful is why I travel. 🎨🖌️🖼️ my favorites: Birth of Veneus painting & ceiling painting in the room of Ester. The queen that went before her husband the king to save her people.

Wine tasting at Chateau de Rully in Burgundy 🍷 The Chateau is a 12th century medieval fortress owned by the same family for over 800 years. 🏰
The resident Count gave us a private tour of the main rooms of the castle and tasted the estate Chardonnay and Pino Noir. Both yummy. 😋 Due to the warm weather, its harvest time.

A visit to off the beaten path to Brancion Chateau/ castle. 🏰 ruins date back to year 1000! 😳 walking through the 12th and 13th century castle and village below. 13th century murals line the walls do the Middle Ages church. The views of the French countryside where beautiful 🇫🇷

A perfect morning and dream come true, truffle hunting in Provence. 🦮 The dogs are trained as early as 7 weeks old to smell the truffles and rewarded with biscuits. They love the hunt and pets from visitors.
