Day two was our big Epic Universe day, and y’all…we had so much fun! 🎢✨
We booked the non-private VIP Experience, which, as of July 1, is a five-hour tour and includes breakfast at Oak & Star Tavern. This is definitely one of the best ways to experience Epic Universe if it fits within your budget.
We rode every attraction in the park except for one water ride in the Isle of Berk—and honestly, I was perfectly fine with that. Nobody likes wet socks! 😂
The kids absolutely loved entering through the ride exits and walking right up to the loading area. Seeing their excitement every time we skipped the line was priceless!
After the tour, we headed back to Helios for a mini siesta. One of the best parts of staying there is how close it is to the park—it can be as little as a two-minute walk, depending on where you are.
After some air conditioning and rest, we headed back into Epic Universe to use the Express Pass access included with our VIP Experience. We were able to ride all of our favorites again! Almost every ride at Epic Universe now accepts Express Pass, with Dragon Racer’s Rally in the Isle of Berk being one of the exceptions.
We ended the night watching Celestial Park’s nighttime show from our hotel room. We could not see all of the fireworks, but we had an amazing view of the whole park lighting up, and the music played through the television in our room. It was such a special way to end the day. 🌌
Two incredible days down, with two more still ahead! Tomorrow, we are heading to Universal’s original parks and checking into the Hard Rock Hotel.
