👉 Everything you need to know about Sargassum on the beach at Sandals Barbados and Sandals Royal Barbados 🌴

Sargassum - seaweed that washes up on the beach - is a relatively new issue for these Barbados resorts.

During peak months, including when we were there the last week of August / first week of September 2026, this can make the resort beach pretty unappealing.

Thankfully, these resorts are known for their iconic pools. So if you’re a pool lover, this is a great option.

However, you can also take advantage of nearby beaches that have not been impacted by the sargassum.

Alternately, you can plan your trip to AVOID sargassum season altogether - we went during winter months as well and the resort beach is one of our favorites at this time.

A question we get all the time is, what’s the difference between luxury and club level rooms?

In some cases, the rooms may have a very similar or the same layout, but with a club level room, you’re getting:
- a better location
- a better view
- higher level in-room spirits
- access to the club lounge
- in-room dining

We like this room for the quiet location on resort.

How much does a Sandals Resort all-inclusive vacation actually cost? 🏝️

It depends! Your price can vary based on room category, travel dates, island, resort, etc.

This week, the least expensive vacation we booked is a 5 year anniversary trip to Sandals Caribbean Cay in Jamaica.

They took advantage of a 777 deal to snag these rooms!

The most expensive vacation we booked is a a surprise family Christmas gift to Beaches Turks and Caicos, staying in the brand new Treasure Beach Village.

Theyre also getting a Sesame Street character tuck-in, which is so fun!

Take a peak inside the Awa Seaside Butler Bungalow with Private Pool at Sandals Royal Curaçao (room code ASP)

I’ve been obsessed with these suites since the resort opened. Having your own infinity pool overlooking the ocean?? Unreal

It’s conveniently located on resort so you have quick access to the food trucks and the main pool.

Plus you get butler service and full access to this entire adult-only all-inclusive resort.

To me, this is an iconic spot for a honeymoon, anniversary or destination wedding.

This is our favorite pool at Sandals Barbados & Sandals Royal Barbados 🏝️

These two resorts are literally feet from each other and when you stay at one you have full access to both.

This includes 11 pools on resort, so if you’re a pool lover this is a great resort option.
