✨ DAY 1 OF 7: Celebrating One Year of On Point Escapes! ✨
On August 23, 2025, On Point Escapes was born. By the end of that month, I had joined Gateway Travel and officially started learning the travel industry from the inside out.
One year later, this past weekend felt like the perfect way to celebrate. 🥂
I headed to Frisco, Texas with a LOT to celebrate: 🎂 My 49th birthday
💍 My aunt & uncle's incredible 60th wedding anniversary
✈️ One full year of a successful travel business
📁 AND delivering a client itinerary — the very first client of Year Two!
Apparently, even the room I booked knew we were celebrating. 😂 Both nights, we were treated to a fireworks show right outside our room! The second night, I didn't even have to go outside — I watched the show from inside. 🎆 Sometimes the travel advisor accidentally plans a little magic for herself, too!
And here's another date I'll always remember: August 30, 2025 was the first official deposit into the On Point Escapes bank account. What started as an idea, a prayer, and a whole lot of "let's see where this goes" became a real business.
None of the accomplishments of this first year could have happened without YOU — my clients, friends, family, referrals, supporters, and everyone who has trusted me with a vacation, shared a post, passed along my name, or cheered me on.
Now I'm setting new goals, launching new initiatives, and planning some incredible trips for 2027 and 2028. And I couldn't be more excited.
