Some love waking up someplace new every morning. Others love the ship itself and all the activities and entertainment.

Me? I love that once you're onboard, you don't have to worry about much! Food, entertainment, activities — it's all taken care of. You can do as much or as little as you want!

That's what makes cruising such a great family vacation. There's something for everyone!

🌳🦒 **Is Animal Kingdom a half-day park?**

We're wrapping up our week looking at all four Walt Disney World parks, and today we're talking about Animal Kingdom!

I'll admit, Animal Kingdom has two of my favorite attractions anywhere at Walt Disney World — Flight of Passage and Kilimanjaro Safaris. And I think it might just be the most beautiful of the four parks.

But right now, with construction underway on the new Tropical Americas area, there's a little less to do than there will be in the future.

So is it a half-day park? For some families, I think it absolutely can be. And I don't think that's a bad thing!

One of the things I tell people when planning a Disney vacation is that you don't have to fill every minute of every day. Sometimes enjoying a park in the morning and spending the afternoon relaxing at your resort is exactly what your family needs.

That's really been my point all week. Every Disney park offers something different, and a great vacation isn't necessarily about doing everything. It's about finding the experiences your family will enjoy most.

🎬 **Hollywood Studios has some of the BEST attractions at Walt Disney World… but it can also be one of the most frustrating parks when it's crowded!**

Rise of the Resistance, Tower of Terror, Slinky Dog Dash, Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway… there's a lot to love about this park! But with fewer attractions to spread out the crowds, those wait times can really add up.

That's why I think Hollywood Studios is a park where having a plan makes a big difference.

But here's my biggest piece of advice: **Don't forget about the shows!** Sometimes taking a break from the rides and enjoying some of the entertainment is exactly what you need to make the day more enjoyable.

🎄✨ **Hollywood Studios is getting ready for a little Christmas glamour!**

If you love Disney at Christmas, but you're looking for something a little different from the traditional holiday experience at Magic Kingdom, you might want to check out **Disney Jollywood Nights!**

This separately ticketed holiday party at Disney's Hollywood Studios brings a little old Hollywood glamour to Christmas, with live entertainment, festive decorations, special character appearances, holiday treats, and shorter waits for some of the park's most popular rides!

🎄 **Here's what you can look forward to:**

✨ Holiday shows featuring Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Mickey, Minnie, and more!

🎶 Live music, dancing, and a holiday skating show in front of the Chinese Theater.

🎆 The return of *Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!* with fireworks, projections, and holiday music.

🎅 Special character greetings, including Santa Stitch, Max Goof as Powerline, and even some Star Wars favorites!

🎢 A chance to enjoy attractions like Rise of the Resistance, Slinky Dog Dash, and Tower of Terror with typically shorter waits.

And there are some new experiences coming this year, too!

**One of the biggest changes for 2026?** Jollywood Nights is extending into January for the first time!

📅 **Select nights November 7, 2026 – January 5, 2027**

Guests can enter Hollywood Studios as early as 5:30 PM, with the party running from 7:30 PM until 12:30 AM.

Here's something I always tell people planning a Disney vacation: **You don't have to do everything Disney offers to have a great trip.** But special events like Jollywood Nights can be a really fun addition if they fit your family's interests and vacation plans.

And because this is a limited-capacity event, it's worth planning ahead!

🌐 **Is EPCOT the most misunderstood park at Walt Disney World?**

I'll admit it. There was a time when EPCOT wasn't very high on my list of favorite Disney parks. And I know I'm not alone!

If you're looking for ride after ride, EPCOT might not be what you're expecting. It's a big park, there's a LOT of walking, and some of the best things about it aren't rides at all.

But somewhere along the way, EPCOT really grew on me!

Between Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Soarin', the incredible food, the festivals, and just wandering through World Showcase, I've learned to appreciate EPCOT for what makes it different.

And I think that's the secret. **I stopped expecting EPCOT to be Magic Kingdom.**

Today is part two of my look at all four Walt Disney World parks. I'm sharing what I love about EPCOT, what I don't love quite as much, and why it's become a park I always look forward to visiting.

🏰 Magic Kingdom: The Heart of Walt Disney World? ✨

There's just something special about walking down Main Street, U.S.A., seeing Cinderella Castle, and knowing you're at Walt Disney World!

This week, I'm taking a look at all four Disney World parks — what I love about each one, what I don't love quite as much, and what I think you should know before you go.

Today we're starting with Magic Kingdom!

Is it perfect? Not even close. It gets crowded, the lines can be long, and if you're looking for huge thrill rides, you might be a little disappointed.

But for me, Magic Kingdom isn't really about the biggest roller coasters or the best restaurants. It's about Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, wandering through Adventureland, grabbing a Dole Whip, and ending the night with Happily Ever After. 🎆

It's that classic Disney experience that keeps me coming back.

One of my favorite recent trips to Walt Disney World was our Christmas trip last year! 🎄✨🏰

We visited during the week between Christmas and New Year's, and what an experience!

We spent December 30th at Magic Kingdom, enjoying the early New Year's Eve fireworks and celebrations, then rang in the New Year at EPCOT! 🎆🥳

Was it crowded? Absolutely! But Disney World during the holidays is just beautiful, and we had so much fun!

And here's a little tip you might not know! 🎅 During that week, Magic Kingdom sometimes offers its Christmas parade during regular park hours. That means you may be able to enjoy the holiday parade without buying a separate Christmas party ticket!

If you've ever dreamed of seeing Walt Disney World all dressed up for Christmas, there's still time to plan a holiday getaway this year!

Someone recently commented on one of my videos that EPCOT was their least favorite Disney park. And you know what? I get it!

Even in my own family, we don't all agree on which parks are the best. And my own opinions have changed over the years!

That's one of the things I love about Walt Disney World. Each of the four parks offers something completely different. They all have things I love, things I'm not quite as crazy about, and things worth knowing before you plan your vacation.

🎨☀️ Trade the winter blues for a little Disney magic!

When you think about planning a Walt Disney World vacation, January and February might not be the first months that come to mind. But they can be a great time to visit!

One of my favorite reasons? EPCOT International Festival of the Arts!

Incredible artwork, creative food, live entertainment, and a little Florida sunshine make this a fun time to experience EPCOT.

And here's something worth remembering: You don't have to wait for summer vacation to make Disney memories!
