As you all know, Sai King was in Bangor yesterday. I had my own personal exchange at the Corner Store but it was a wee one. I watched him engage with a couple fans. One my age, the other might have been 10. I didn't want to be "that guy" so I waited my turn and simply thanked him "for everything." He told me to take of myself and that was that. Did I have a book with me to sign? NO!!! Oh well. I said what I've always wanted to. As usual he was reading as he walked around the block. Did I clock what the book was? Effing right I did. It was "The Savage, Noble Death of Babs Dionne" by Ron Currie. I am sorry I missed the signing event last night but JT represented like a champ.

Day 2 in Portland with the girls back-to-school shopping. We had a delish breakfast and then they ditched me...again. Not gonna lie...it's all good. I'm chilling with an aperol spritz on the water front. Large crowds, live music, and only 1 shopping bag so far.

I NEVER EVER skip Waterlily when I'm in town.

While JT toils at the shop, I'm in Portland on a back-to-school shopping trip with our daughter and her friend. They dismissed me from the hotel room so they could try on clothes, order food, and spray perfume all over. I'm at Brickyard Hollow having the best pizza ever, sipping pinot grigio, texting JT that he would love this restaurant, and listening to "IT" on audible. It's ok to be jealous.

Ok kids! It's been a very hot but very busy season! We are so grateful! This also means a lot of folks asking to be on a waitlist for the tours.... managing a waitlist is a part time job all by itself so we are working on adding a "waitlist" option to our reservation system. So far, so good but we will make mistakes. Please be patient while we perfect it. Thank you thank you thank you!
