TLDR: SK Tours has finally released the APP you didn't even know you needed! WOOT!

Well, IT's hAPPening! We've made it even easier (and cheaper) for you to enjoy Bang, er, Derry, Maine!

We built an APP for you!

This is just the beginning so we hope you'll have patience while we iron out any kinks that pop up (because you know there will be some!).

It includes King themed locations all over Bangor (more locations - all over the US being added soon).

It has a handy-dandy book and movie check list.

It has an "On this Day" Calendar!

It has ads for local businesses (and some mid-world ads too just for fun).

Every day we are adding more information and as our tour season winds down at the end of October, we can truly turn our attention to making this a really fun APP.

We have big, big plans for this APP (lots of ideas, badges, trivia, book and movie rating system - if there is a way to do, we'll figure it out) but we couldn't wait any more to share it.

It's available for Apple and Android users (because we love you all equally).

So far, this is only available in the US. An APP that works globally is apparently quite a process.

Update: my optimism got the best of me and I was wrong. After some x-rays we've learned it's worse than we thought. We have to say good bye tonight. So....thanks for all your kind words, pics of your pets, and well wishes. Go give the ones you love an extra scritch for We**ie.

Wedge (one of our kitties): hey guys, howzit going? Looks like you're having a good year.

Me: yeah, a busy year! Managed to put a little in savings!

Wedge: Say no more! I'm about to become scary sick aaaaannnddd I'm fixing to do it on the weekend when all the vets are closed! Well, except for the expensive er vet 30 minutes outside of town!

Accepting all good thoughts for Wedginald. We think he's gonna be fine but dang it, kitty!

We FINALLY got some SK Tours merch in! Peep the lid!

Weathered green, cotton but quite soft to the touch. Stitching where the brim meets the hat (not sure what that does but it sounded like a fancy choice). Low profile because that's what my mans wants 😁. Our logo on the front and "Come Float With Us" on the back.

We'll get all kinds of feedback and then venture into other colors.

Loading onto Shopify soonish. 😁

Hey Constant Readers! Many of you know that Tom Deady author of 𝘚𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘍𝘭𝘰𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨: 40 𝘠𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘗𝘦𝘯𝘯𝘺𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘦 will be here in Bangor the Stephen King birthday weekend! We've been reminded that many of you may not be able to make the trip. We are offering the book for sale on our Shopify account. You can buy the book, we will get the book signed that weekend, and mail it out to you early in the week of September 21.

Speaking of National Read a Book Day....do you have your copy of Tom Deady's "Still Floating: 40 Years of Pennywise." Great contributors (yeah, yeah, yeah, we're in here too!!!). And if you are local, or not, but traveling to Downtown Bangor to celebrate King's birthday on the 18th, 19th, and 20th of September...Tom will be signing this book! The book launch is happening at The Emporium Spooky Goods & More LLC the evening of the 18th and SK Tours of Maine is hosting a signing at Nocturnem Draft Haus on the 19th from 1pm to 4pm. Questions?
