🎉 Four years ago today, I launched a little travel business with a love for Disney World and a desire to do something new. I had no idea how much it would change my life.

When my daughter left for college in the fall of 2022, I found myself facing a new chapter of life that I wasn't quite sure how to navigate. I thought starting a travel business would give me something to do and a way to share my love of travel. What I didn't realize was just how much I would need it.

What started with planning Disney vacations quickly grew into a renewed love for cruising, guided tours, and helping people explore the world in ways I never imagined when I began. Along the way, I've grown so much, become a Senior Travel Advisor, attended every annual meeting with my incredible host agency, and found a wonderful community of fellow travel advisors who encourage, teach, and inspire me. And some of my clients have become friends, too. ❤️

Can anything truly fill the void when your only child goes off to college 1,500 miles away? No, it can't. ❤️‍🩹 But this business has brought so much joy, focus, and connection into my life during a season of change. It has challenged me, taught me more than I ever expected to learn, and given me the opportunity to help so many busy people create incredible vacation memories with the people they love.

Four years in, I'm still learning, still growing, and still excited about what's ahead.
To my clients who have trusted me with your vacations, my followers who cheer me on, and my fellow travel advisors who have become friends, thank you. Your support means more to me than you know.

This trip has been months in the making! They are getting out of town and heading down to Secrets Cap Cana for 5 wonderfully relaxed days of beach, pool, food, & drink!
They'll be chilling in their Bungalow Swim-Out Suite, sunbathing at both the private beach area AND private pool for Preferred Club guests! This resort is in the private, gated community of Cap Cana in Punta Cana on world-famous Juanillo Beach with amazing sunrise views!

Mystery solved! 🕵️‍♀️✨

Remember the mystery $25 Disney Gift Card I received with the message, “A little pixie dust to thank you!”?

Well, I now know exactly who my mystery Disney fairy was. 😂

A few weeks ago, Megan, one of my fellow advisors at Fantastical Vacations, reached out because she had four families checking into Walt Disney World on the same day and needed some extra help with advance dining reservations.

One of those families had Cinderella’s Royal Table at the very top of their must-do list. If you know Disney dining, you know that is not exactly a reservation you casually snag. 😉 I was available, so I offered to help.

And I didn’t just get Cinderella’s Royal Table. I also managed to snag Topolino’s Terrace character breakfast, Space 220 Lounge, ‘Ohana character breakfast, and several other dining reservations for her client.

This morning, Megan asked if I had received the gift card she sent because she never got the confirmation that it had been delivered.

That’s when I got to tell her the whole story about the mysterious gift card, my Facebook post, and my investigation into the identity of my secret Disney fairy. We had a pretty good laugh over it. 😂

But honestly, the best part of this little story is the teamwork behind it.

At Fantastical Vacations, we really do help each other. Sometimes that means getting up early to help another advisor snag those hard-to-get Disney dining reservations. Other times, it means sharing firsthand destination knowledge, resort experience, cruise line expertise, or supplier insight when one of us is helping clients with a destination or travel product that’s new to us.

So thank you, Megan, for the pixie dust… and for being part of a team where we really do have each other’s backs. ❤️✨

✨ JUST REVEALED ✨ The DISNEY BELIEVE sets sail December 18, 2027! 🚢

The Grand Hall aboard the Disney Believe will evoke the spirt of exploration and wayfinding from Disney’s “Moana” films. The space will serve as the ship’s most prominent gathering space and will offer its own dedicated entertainment moments and surprises.

✨ Disney Encanto” brings guests into the magical world of the Madrigal family from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto.” For the first time on stage and exclusively on the Disney Believe, this Broadway-style production will feature the film’s hit songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda, along with vibrant costumes, scenic set design, and choreography that will bring to life the diverse and rich Columbian culture and tell Mirabel’s story like never before.

🚢 On the Disney Believe, everyone has a seat at Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast, a brand-new, untold chapter in the “Frozen” story featuring favorite characters like Oaken, Anna and Kristoff. Set in a sommerhus courtyard deep within the forest, Oaken and his family will invite guests to dine together while enjoying the musical stylings of his cousins, who will play their own reimagined renditions of famous tunes from the popular “Frozen” soundtracks.

✨ Inspired by Ariel and her underwater kingdom, Sea Notes will welcome guests to this new lounge exclusive to the Disney Believe, blending contemporary design with the whimsical artistry from the beloved Walt Disney Animation Studios’ film, “The Little Mermaid.” A pearlescent piano from Ariel’s secret grotto will serenade patrons while they sip on a variety of craft cocktails.

🚢 Adults will step into a vintage storybook at Wishing Well, a centrally located gathering space taking cues from Disney Animation’s 1939 film “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.”
