Our next stop after the Luberon was the amazing Calanques National Park, adjacent to the charming seaside town of Cassis. We did a pretty insane (!) hike to a gorgeous hidden beach. From there, we headed east toward Saint Tropez where we stayed at the stunning La Reserve Ramatuelle. A beautiful, modern oasis with incredible sea views just minutes from the action in St Tropez or their beach club on the beautiful Pampelonne beach. The rooms at La Reserve are so well done - with mid century modern decor mixed with cozy touches like the owners favorite books, silk sleep masks, soft robes and comfortable furnishings. This is a great hotel option for those who want to enjoy the calm yet be minutes from the vibrant towns and beaches. This is another property where I receive fantastic extra amenities for my clients !

After our stay in Paris, Anna and I hopped on a TGV train down to Avignon! We rented a car and drove to the beautiful Luberon region of Provence. We explored the charming town of Roussillon (including an awesome hike through the red rocks!) before settling in to our hotel in beautiful Gordes. The is a lovely historic hotel built into the Gordes city walls - the views over the Provencale countryside are incredible from their lawns and terraces. The hotel had so many nice touches - pajamas on the beds at turndown, homemade candies in the lobby, and at your departure you’re presented with a delicious box of Laduree macarons and monogrammed luggage tags to remember your stay. Next stop… the coast!

We spent a lovely day in Paris this weekend and it’s looking better than ever!! We even got to see Notre Dame now that it is finished - it looks amazing. 27,000 steps and 11.7 miles later, we had a fantastic stay at the iconic ! The newly renovated rooms are light, elegant and beautifully done. SerRicky Grundenccable and thElli Travel Group - I don’t even know where to start!

I had a productive day yesterday at the Elli cruise forum with 14 of our cruising partners, from ocean to expedition to river cruises - all of whom shared information and updates. We recently had the opportunity to visit the beautiful in Bedford, New York. It’s a wonderful spot for a nice getaway with cozy decor, great yoga programming and fantastic food, with easy access to charming nearby towns and outdoor activities !
