Babies respond beautifully to Craniosacral Therapy.

Because their bodies and nervous systems are still developing, babies are especially receptive to gentle, supportive care. Even the birth process itself can create tension in the head, neck, jaw, and body—affecting comfort, feeding, sleep, and overall regulation.

🌿 Craniosacral Therapy (CST) helps gently release that tension, allowing babies to feel calmer, more comfortable, and more at ease in their bodies.

Parents often notice improvements in:
🍼 Feeding and latch
😴 Sleep and settling
💨 Reflux, gas, and digestion
👐 Head and neck movement
💛 Overall calmness and comfort

Sometimes just a few sessions can make a remarkable difference for both baby and parents.

CST is all about patience and balance.

The fulcrum is often described as the point on which a lever turns… but in craniosacral, it can be something far more profound.

A fulcrum may be the gentle support of an elbow, the forearm, or simply our therapeutic presence. It exists in the quiet acknowledgment of a patient’s emotional landscape, in the subtle strains held within the fluids, and in the fragility of the central nervous system.

Matching tension is not always physical.
And the fulcrum is not always a place or a point.

Perhaps it is a meeting place — where stillness, presence, and intention come together.

Sutherland spoke of “the balanced stillness of the spiritual universe” as the foundation for the motion of the material universe. He saw this as underlying the nature of everything in existence, including the essential nature of the human being .

CST uses an extremely gentle touch—about the weight of a nickel—to support the body’s natural ability to heal. There’s no force, cracking, or aggressive manipulation involved.

Instead, the therapy works by calming the nervous system, releasing tension, and helping the body return to balance in a safe, gentle way.

✨ That’s why CST is so beneficial for:
👶 Newborns and infants
💛 Children and sensitive individuals
🧘 Adults with chronic pain, trauma, or conditions like fibromyalgia

Sometimes the gentlest approach is exactly what the body needs.

Why is Craniosacral Therapy so important for newborns?

The first days and weeks of life are a big adjustment. Even in smooth deliveries, babies can carry tension from their time in the womb or the birth process, especially in the head, neck, and jaw.

That tension can show up as:
🍼 Feeding or latching difficulties
😴 Trouble sleeping or settling
💨 Reflux, gas, or digestive discomfort
👐 Head-turning preferences or stiffness

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, non-invasive way to help release that tension and support a baby’s developing nervous system.

Because newborns are so responsive, even small releases can lead to meaningful changes—helping them feel calmer, feed more easily, and adjust to the world with greater comfort.

Supporting the body early can make a lasting difference.
