Thinking about Disney but dreading the crowds?
Well I have a solution!
✨✨Disneyland!!! ✨✨
Just an experience we had and why I think Disneyland is Great!
We decided to go to Disneyland on a whim- no planning- no prebooking- just showing up!
First and foremost- Ropedrop! If you are a Disney world veteran you know ropedrop everyone sprints to the longest lined rides and it’s a bit chaotic sometimes! With Disneyland if you rope drop literallyy you can walk onto any ride— even the hard to get ones! The lines were actually never unbearable at anytime while there!
Next up- crowds! We went on RUNDisney weekend! Disney world is insane during this time! Bigger crowds= longer wait times (and more germs) Disneyland was not packed hardly at all! We saw people with metals on but again nothing like what we have experienced at Disney World.
Parks- there are 2 parks in Disneyland that are directly across from each other 🤩 This made park hopping super easy! Not only that we were able to do EVERYTHING IN 1 day! Talk about $$$ savings! Without having to do multiple days (3+ days) you can really save $$ and do other things.
Characters- we seen soo many characters just walking around- this made our quick day trip super magical! We were use to the longer lines and quick interactions- these characters were incredible and took their time with each guest.
Food- while the selections were just okay, we really had no complaints. Vendors were everywhere.
Cast memebers- i was shocked at how happy they were. While everyone is entitled to a bad day every once in a while, everyone we spoke to was incredibly kind.
Transportation- loved how simple it was! We upgraded to preferred parking as it was just Frannie and I but otherwise super simple and efficient.
Now this part is really important to me and my family. As a parent with 2 special needs kidos- I would honestly prefer to do Disneyland with them over Disney world. Reason for that is it’s just easier! A lot of families rely on the DAS- with Disneyland I don’t believe you’ll need it as much. I truly believe if we were denied DAS we could still enjoy our vacation without being super overwhelmed and over stimulated.
