Second trip last Sunday. This group had some ture fishermen. Knowing I was going to rain most of the time, we still went. Great group. Really enjoyed my time with them

One of our friends and Outdoor Driven ambassadors, Cory, just underwent surgery and is pushing through a great deal of pain as he begins the road of healing. Cory has always shown up for our heroes with a full heart and a helping hand, and now it’s our turn to show up for him. If you have a moment today, send a prayer his way for a speedy recovery. What an honor. This amazing couple, Betty and Eric, contacted me about Saginaw Bay Waleye Fishing being on Eric's bucket list. There was only one answer. Get to the boat, and we will fish as long as you want. Fishing was a bit tough, stiff east wind, and some decent waves, but the good lord provided us with 10 beautiful walleye for them to enjoy. Was Eric's first walleye ever. Even got a couple of bonus fish. Their dog Shadow, is wonderful on a boat and really has a way of bringing joy to everyone.

My regular first mate was unable to attend, but a fellow captain sent a fist mate my way to help out. First time every for Ivy to be on the boat. She was very instrumental in make the day a such a success.

Sorry for the long post, but it was such a spectacular day I had to share. I truly felt like I spent the day with some of the best people I'll ever meet.
