Mother Lion is retreat space available for private rentals of all sorts- from wellness retreats to bachelorette parties to romantic getaways to dinner parties or cozy nights with friends. She was created to help foster your wellness, rest, healing, gathering, celebrating & creativity. Mother Lion is a three-bedroom home with private backyard which features a hot tub and cedar barrel sauna, chimnea

, and private garden. Nestled on a side street just a block off the main strip of Bay View, we are a quick walk to so much the neighborhood has to offer. Filled with magical decorations, books, paintings, sculptures, fiber art, tiles, and more, Mother Lion herself is a work of art! We love to showcase the work of Milwaukee’s artists all over our walls, ceilings, and floors. Enjoy the luxurious bathroom with a claw-foot tub and a large walk-in shower featuring a rainfall option, and our famous cottage room with a full modern gas fireplace, hand-made found stonewall, and big beautiful sunroom windows looking onto the private yard. Lavender, Rose of Sharon, Ivy, Apple & Pear trees, and so many more charming buds grow outside in the spring and summertime. There’s a table for enjoying your drinks and laughs with friends and a chimnea to enjoy a fire. Put on a record from our vinyl collection, read a book with coffee or tea in our sunny cottage room, sink into our hot tub as the stars light up the evening sky.

Love how a perfectly made, linen-fitted, down-fluffed bed can serve for the most restful evening’s night slumbers, AND one of the best spots for the girls to giggle. 🤭 💖🌈

Cullah delivers a genre-blending performance that moves from intimate folk to immersive electronic soundscapes.
Often called “The Beck of Milwaukee,” his shows are dynamic, soulful, and rooted in deep storytelling tradition.
