Had a trip Wednesday and the weatherman missed it. High was 56 degrees and light rain. At least light wind. Put in at Whites point ant found tailing reds 50 yards from the truck. They were picky and skidish, but after changing to the Texas Rattlers bleeding shad they were more responsive. Still had to work at getting them to commit. All caught were in the 22 to 23 size. My client was cold but had a great time..

Had Mr Joe and Mr John This past Friday and Saturday. Did Nueces marsh Friday and Mission Bay Saturday. Mr John scored with a 281/2 and a 211/4" trout. Ended up catching our limits. Sat started great with each of us hooking up on our first cast together. That was a first. Then came the storms out on Mission Bay. Trout went crazy. Over 40 total caught and released. Great day even though we got drenched.

Had a great trip guiding Joey and Brad Saturday in the back marshes of Mission Bay. All fish were caught on Texas Rattlers Jigs. Sorry for no pics of fish, but we're on another camera that I forgot to download. Have a trip this Friday. Heade.Headed to Nueces Bay marshes. Anyone wanting to go give me a call. Reds are chewing big time.

Great day back in the marsh Monday. Thanks Mr John for using Flatwater Assassin Kayak Fishing. Reds were really spooky today. Caught all in very shallow water sunning in the mud on Buggs Flats jig in black and gold using a Shimano 150 Tranx with 10lb braid. Old Eighteen 7ft Suppressor 2.0 ultralight rods handled them easily.

Day started slow with slack tide, but finally found them later in the morning.
All caught on Texas Rattler jigs, Redfish Candy 3D gold Real Eye rigged with the bleeding croaker paddle tail by Texas Rattlers.
