Did you know? The Seychelles are full of all kinds of pirate myths and legends surrounding the islands. One of these smaller local tales comes from the North Island, originating in the 1920s.

A man named Peter claimed to have discovered a large ceramic jar filled with of gold medallions; however, for fear that the treasure would be stolen from him, he never told anyone the location of this jar.
After his mysterious death, the secrecy of this gold-filled jar remains hidden to this day - So the legend continues to captivate the locals and visitors a like!

Just a few hours from Cape Town, South Africa is one of the best places to see the whale migrations, right off the coast of the De Hoop Nature Reserve, in luxury accommodations. During South Africa's winter months (july - october) many whale pods make their way up from the Antarctic icy waters to these warmer, protected shores to raise their young calves. In recent years, more and more countries have been passing laws requiring foreign travelers to have travel insurance.
