Going out to eat with dietary restrictions brings about its own worries and stresses. Adding traveling into the mix, especially internationally, increases that worry even more. That's why we created Alpha-Gal Safaris, curated for those facing food-related challenges, like Alpha-Gal. We've also partnered with Equal Eats to give our travelers even more peace of mind.
Equal Eats is a company that created allergy / dietary needs food cards for “translation + safety” instructions you show to people who prepare or serve your food - especially when you’re traveling or eating somewhere unfamiliar. Each card can be customized to be in the native language of wherever you are traveling.

Get your own for your next adventure, and enjoy them without the extra stress of food-related troubles: https://equaleats.com/?ref=alphagal-safaris

In recent years, more and more countries have been passing laws requiring foreign travelers to have travel insurance. Kenya has been a recent addition, despite these newer or extra 'hurdles' to visit select countries; being safe and covering yourself is always a good idea! Here are the top reasons to invest in travel insurance for any adventure:

1) Out of Network for normal coverage or if you are on Medicare (Medicare doesn't typically cover costs in foreign countries)
2) Medical Evacuations Could be devastating to your finances.
3) Your Trip is usually Non-refundable or has strict cancellation penalties.
4) You end up with missing baggage on your trip.

You've invested a lot into traveling; make sure to invest in peace of mind too!
If you have any questions about travel insurance, let us know, and we can help!

The southwestern region of Africa is full of so many diverse ecosystems, ranging from sandy desert coasts to sprawling wetlands. Most seasoned travelers know all about the Okavango Delta, but there is another, lesser-known delta just as ecologically diverse - The Linyanti Wetlands.
Created from the floods during the rainy season, the region is hidden within Nkasa Rupara National Park. It's part of KAZA, one of the largest transboundary conservation landscapes on Earth, and remains a sanctuary for many endangered species.
Despite its extensive biodiversity, this national park is one of Namibia's least visited national parks, making it a much more personal experience. If this sounds like something you wanna add to your next African adventure, we can add it to your customized itinerary!

For many years, trends for African travel have been fixated on just the tourism keypoints; like Cape Town, Okavango Delta the Great Migration, and the legendary Maasai Mara. However, experienced travelers are looking for something different, outside of the usual trends and traditional safari destinations. Malawi is quickly becoming known as the "Second Destination" for Africa travelers.
As the "warm heart of Africa" experienced travelers will find a more 'authentic' experiences rather than famous ones, mass-marketed locations. Since Malawi is more off the beaten track camps are also found to be less crowded, creating a better experience with nature and culture immersion.
