With water temps finally cooling down, fishing should continue to get better all the way till ice up. Couple of days left open this month, about half of November, and all of December. A whole lot of people telling me to let them know when the walleye are biting and they'll come out. This time of year its great one day and they're shut off the next. Best i can say is pick a day and if the weather is bearable, we fish 🎲 🎲

🚨🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨🚨 Steven the wiper has been caught! 5 days later and hes already back in my boat for the 10th time in 6 weeks. I changed my mind, if someone else catches him ill still give a couple lures away. I want to see if he just likes my boat or harasses everybody else as well😭

I wish I would of taken pictures before because no one will believe it, but this exact same wiper has been netted in my boat a total of 9 times since mid September. Even a day apart a half mile apart. No joke.. and yes its the exact same fish. I shall call him Steven. No offense to the Steve's out there😂

It's a skinny 26-27 incher with a big lump on its top lip from being hooked in the past and a big "blurred" spot on its side towards the tail. Not if, but when someone else on here catches it again, let me know and ill give you a couple of my fancy custom alewife baits.

Every year I think of September as the reset month for fishing, at least on the lake i fish. The weeks of whacky weather come in and it cues the bait and the predators chasing them to leave their summer haunts and head out deep. It happens fast, sometimes over night. Like someone left the gate open and by morning the cows are scattered in the next county. Fishing gets tough on most days until the weather calms and the fish settle into their fall/winter homes. I absolutely can't wait to get through this month and water temps to start dropping. It only gets better from here until next September 🌧

I had a client over the summer tell me they'd fished the inlet before they came out on the boat and the only thing they caught was a gar. I was suprised because I'd never in my life even seen one in there even though its part of the canal so there is obviously a few. Today i was blessed to catch one of those nasty critters out of there myself and it was loaded with them. Johnson still proves to be the holding pool for trash fish 😂 now it just needs some white perch to replace the missing whitebass

This year I've been trying to get just one pic per person with a wiper, walleye, whatever. It gets chaotic in the boat a lot of the days when the wiper are on the feed and im running around netting fish back to back. Less picture taking and more fishing catching. No excuse for getting behind posting them though 🤷‍♂️ think i have enough in queue still for 2 more photobombs in the next week. If I took a pic of every catfish we've unintentionally caught this month I'd have enough to post everyday for the next 2 years...
