It with sadness I am letting you know that beloved Psychic Sue Yarmey, passed away unexpectedly January 15, 2024. She was a psychic medium, tarot reader, energy translator and teacher. Sue was an exuberant personality, friend and mentor to many, she will be remembered always and missed deeply by her friends and clients. May she rest in eternal peace.

Tuesday, October 6: King of Wands
Think for a moment what Kings stand for. . . the idea of who rules. Are you exercising your power of self rule? What do you want to be when you grow up? When was the last time you thought about that? This card is about your profession, your life and what you desire to do about them. Are you happy in your choice of career and in the job you currently hold? UPSIDE: You have control over your own growth. You create all that happens and if you are not happy with the way it has turned out, you have the power to change things. With that kind of information, it means that you know what you want, where you are going and how to make it work. DOWNSIDE: You feel like someone else is in control. You fell into your current job/occupation and you stay there because it’s “safe”. You married the right person, do the right kind of work, live in the right neighborhood, etc. ACTION: This is a good day to contemplate where your passions lie. Recognize that if you follow your passion, then you will be in control of your own personal growth at all times. No one will have the power over you unless you grant them that power. Keep your power to yourself and recognize how much you can do when you set your mind to it!

Monday, October 5: Ten of Wands
It's been a most interesting weekend. We ended last Saturday on this card, and we enter into this Monday carrying burdens. . . .perhaps the same ones! This card relates to your own personal growth. Do you feel like you are doing all the work and someone else is getting all the credit? UPSIDE: The meaning remains the same. You recognize that any burden you carry is self inflicted. In other words, if you believe that you can change all the “stuff” going on in your life, then you can. You don’t carry “extra” because someone hands it to you. You carry “extra” because you allow someone to hand it to you. You hang around and volunteer and say things like “Oh, I don’t mind, give me more work!” If you were paying attention to the news, you'll get the point! DOWNSIDE: You keep taking on more and more and more. When someone asks if they can help you and you respond with a “no thanks, I’m fine” (and you’re lying through your teeth) then you get the gist of the down side. Additionally, when you choose not to talk about what is bothering you, when you choose not to speak up against someone who is unpleasant or takes advantage, when you choose to not rock the boat, you are buying into the down side of this day. ACTION: Pay attention today to what you are carrying. As the election gets closer, you need to know who it belongs to. You have the strength and intuition to determine what needs to be done, when it needs to be done and how it needs to be done. All you need to do is recognize if you wish to exercise your knowledge. And remember that part of that knowledge is learning how to give things back to the people who tried to dump them on you. This isn’t being mean. This is about self care! Always remember, there's nothing violent about self care!!!

Friday, October 2: Seven of Cups
Ever hear the expression “Watch what you wish for, it might come true”? Well, happy Friday! Today feels like a testy kind of day and tempers could flair. You might just go out of your head and into your feelings. However, if you have been ignoring how you feel, today might be a little rough and even explosive! UPSIDE: You recognize that it is okay to feel. Sometimes you think that it is inappropriate to express your feelings. Not today. Today is the time to voice your feelings (and always in a healthy way). Thinking before speaking is sometimes necessary to make sure you don’t say things just to be nasty! Being calm and collected before spouting off may be all you need to smooth our your feelings. DOWNSIDE: You ignore your feelings and wind up acting in a way that is not in your best interest. So when you say it’s okay for a friend to borrow the car even though you need it for your errands, you are not acting in your best interest. ACTION: Pay attention to your feeling levels. Just because you are good at something, doesn’t mean you enjoy doing it. Today is a good day to find out the difference. Today is also great for getting in touch with you. Try a little pampering. Treat yourself and allow your feelings to be expressed in that particular treat. Remember, if you are carrying a weight on your shoulders, it's time to shrug!

Thursday, October 1: Five of Wands
Welcome to October, a time of hauntings, witches and other spooky things (like the near election). Are you ready to see this day as one of high energy of just nervous energy? UPSIDE: You have lots and lots of energy to work with. You are pumped. Today is a day of great accomplishments if you can direct those energies into a positive output. Energy is neutral. You are the one who charges it! Use this day to bring about changes in your business, your relationships. Get those chores done, start that project you’ve been putting off. It is essential to be cooperative, honest and practical. Working with others will accomplish more than working alone. DOWNSIDE: All that great energy is without direction. You quarrel. You find you have no patience. You compete. Everything is an obstacle. Your energy is misplaced and causes problems with others -- no one wants to be around you if your nothing but an exposed electrical wire! You are disorganized and all your energy is dissipated. Your attitude keeps others from working with you in a cooperative way. ACTION: With all the energy available to you today, you have to make some choices. Just a little concentration will get you a lot. Open to the energy and use it to get what you desire today and for your future. If for any reason you can't act, try to put that energy to good use by creating lists that you will actually follow!

Wednesday, September 30: Wheel of Fortune
This is the second day in a row that a Major card is making an appearance. Today is about risk...in a major way! Now I know that some of you bungee jumpers out there live for risks, but the majority of you don’t even like to think about it, unless, of course, it’s a sure thing. If you're into risks, this will be a good day for. . . gambling, following your intuition (especially if you tend to ignore it). There are opportunities out there coming your way today. What are you going to do about them? UPSIDE: This is a good time to take a chance -- with a person, a deal, some money, whatever. Take a chance and believe in yourself since this day can offer a great payoff. With everything changing, find the fun in the changes and take a chance! DOWNSIDE: Loss can plague you. If you don’t understand what is going on in your life, if you don’t choose wisely and make an error, the payoff will be just as big but in a different way. If you can’t afford to lose -- money, a person, a job -- this won’t be a good day to gamble. ACTION: It’s all about the balance between the intellect and the heart. Using only one will get you in some deep difficulties if you don’t stay in balance. Be cautious, take everything into consideration and then go for it. If you figure it out, it won’t be a problem. If you continue to argue the issue or question your actions, it will be. Feel your way through this day and follow how you feel. . . it just might surprise you!

Tuesday, September 29: The Star
Here's a card we haven't seen in some time. . . probably because it's all about balance and more balance. This card represents the four elements -- earth, air, fire and water (and let’s not forget the fifth element which is you). Now is a good day to seek and find assistance in your balance -- earth is where you live, air is what you know, fire is your passion and water is how you express your emotions. UPSIDE: You can receive recognition for all your efforts, be assisted in climbing the proverbial ladder, and have an all around very good day. The more focused you are, the better. Meditation is a great way to hear all the information being offered. Believing it's possible, is a big step toward manifesting. DOWNSIDE: You can take all of this information and twist it to fit your mood of the moment. You have the power to not use the truth, to not listen to advise, to not be aware of assistance and go on your merry way without knowledge of where, when or how. (Sounds like politics!) Doubt is the enemy today and can creep into your psyche and bring out depression or even pessimism. ACTION: Are you in balance mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally? Think about it. Through meditation, some quiet time and a natural review of what is happening in your life, can help you answer that question. Spend some time today to get in balance and enjoy the day!

Monday, September 28: Seven of Pentacles
It's nice to see a new week begin with a card that represents unexpected rewards. Unexpected is the key word here. These rewards can come in the form of gifts, money, compliments, or favors. What will it be for you today? UPSIDE: You are aware and prepared to receive those many gifts coming your way. It time to be able to take in the compliment without questioning the source. Accept that the person paying you back really did owe you money. Know that any raise you receive is earned. Let someone pick up the tab for lunch without an argument. You can still experience good things at a not so good time! It’s all out there. Enjoy. DOWNSIDE: You are so oblivious to what is being said, done, etc., that you brush everything by without so much as a “didn’t that feel good”. You receive nothing since you don’t feel that you are worthy of anything. Being worthy is an issue today. If you don’t know your worth, your worthiness, then how will others know it? ACTION: What will you choose? Are you ready to embrace the idea of being worthy? Do you know all the good things you're capable of? I think this one is a no brainer, but you have to start with your own inner knowing and worthiness to pull it off. Make this a Monday to remember. Good luck.

Saturday, September 26: Eight of Wands
This card gets you back to thinking about your own personal growth. This can get you to look at where you are and where you wish to go. It’s like moving your plant from one pot to a bigger pot to give the roots room to grow. That is the key word here – growth. UPSIDE: You have the opportunity to get out of your stuckness and grow, baby, grow. You can go forward and produce more and better than you ever have before because you have more room to do it. Wow. This is a good day to recognize that you have power and know how to use it! DOWNSIDE: That not-so-wonderful stuck feeling. You don’t know what you want so you can’t really get there. You have a tendency to see what you have accomplished but only in a negative way. In other words, you can only see how far you have to go, not how far you have come. ACTION: Look at your occupation and what you do. This card is about personal growth. Give yourself permission today to replant yourself somewhere that will assist you in growing. Nurture yourself and remember that every oak tree started from the acorn. Your ability to selkf nurture will make a big difference on a day like this!

Welcome! Welcome! It's been awhile since we saw this card. The Sun is about new beginnings, happiness and contentment. This is something everyone needs right now. This is a perfect time for you to become more aware of the newness of all things -- new life, new starts, new opportunities. This is also a great time to experience reunions with those you love -- party hardy (but safely!) UPSIDE: You open yourself to all of this newness -- life, opportunities, the sky’s the limit. Allow it to take you exactly where you desire to go. You can overcome any obstacle on a day like this. With this kind of illumination, you can see more than you are used to seeing. DOWNSIDE: You look at the new beginning and deny the possibility -- I can’t, I’m not able. If you choose this response, please be aware that it is only fear holding you back. (I know, this is easy for me to write, but hard for you to do). I know I say this as if fear isn’t a big deal. ACTION: You know what? Fear isn’t a big deal! If you choose, you can create a future without possibilities and with restrictions. Your uncertainty can make this a day for celebration or a day for restraint. Happy new beginnings.
