📢Today is the day, Real ID is here! Having a Real ID allows you to fly on domestic flights and access certain federal buildings.

📖 Have a passport? You won't need to get a Real ID. Your passport will allow you to travel domestic and international and expires every 10 years for 16+ and 5 years for those under.

💰 How much does a REAL ID cost? Prices vary from state to state. Check out your Government state website or reach out to your local MVD for accurate pricing

🕔 How soon will it be processed? Time varies from each MVD. Your best answer will come from your local MVD.

🗓 Can I just walk in and get one? Yes. Many MVDs allow walk in, but appointments are always better to avoid long waiting periods at the office.

If you don't have one of these, you'll need to undergo an alternative identity verification process at the TSA checkpoint, which may include additional screening for domestic flights or they may conpletely deny boarding- **This is subject to be revoked at anytime

As always, a passport is still mandatory for traveling internationally VIA plane, passport card for land travel.
