Imagine spending 2027 Thanksgiving weekend cheering on the Fighting Hawks in Northern Ireland. 🍀

UND will compete in the Friendship Four tournament in Belfast, giving fans the chance to experience college hockey on an international stage. It's the first and only NCAA Division I men's hockey tournament held outside North America, making this an unforgettable trip for any hockey fan.

A year ago, we were wandering through Croatia.

The other night Jordan and I found ourselves reminiscing about that trip, and we both came to the same conclusion.

Our favorite memories weren’t the famous ones.

Don’t get me wrong… walking the walls of Dubrovnik and exploring Old Town were absolutely worth it. But when we think back on Croatia, those aren’t the moments we talk about most.

We remember getting wonderfully lost down narrow stone streets with no destination. Stumbling upon tiny, family-owned restaurants that didn’t make it into any guidebook. Sitting outside for hours over simple meals, ordering the house w**e, and just soaking in the atmosphere.

Those are the moments that stay with you.

💡 Pro travel tip: When you’re visiting a w**e region, order the house w**e.

It usually costs less, and in countries that take immense pride in their w**e, the “house w**e” is rarely an afterthought. It’s often made locally, poured with pride, and can end up being one of the best glasses you’ll have on your trip.

The biggest attractions might get the photos, but it’s often the unplanned moments between them that become your favorite memories.

Happy Birthday to my favorite travel partner! ❤️✈️

When Jordan and I first started traveling, I’m not sure he would have described himself as a “traveler.” He enjoyed the destination once we got there, but dreaded the travel day itself.

But after years of trips, airports, flights, questionable decisions, too many hotel rooms, and a whole lot of “just trust me, it’ll be worth it”…

I’ve officially turned him into one. 😂

We’ve had so many adventures together, and some of my favorite memories have nothing to do with the destination itself. They’re the little moments we’ve collected along the way.

And thankfully, we’re nowhere near done.

There are still plenty of places to see, foods to eat, roads to get lost on, and flights for me to convince him we absolutely need to take. 🌎🥂
