First up- Open every day of the year at 10AM. Free! And one of the only 230 zoos internationally accredited through AZA! Both the zoo and conservatory are over 100 years old with impressive collections 😍 🌴check their website for more details and info!

I have created this gift guide to help give the gift of experience over feeling like you need to just buy people things. Keeping in mind that it is fun to watch our loved ones open presents, there are creative ways you can go about presenting these experiential gifts and even including a local handmade item to go along with the gift. Most of these gifts require you giving your time and spending the day or several hours with your loved ones. Many of these ideas are for all budgets!

I believe this type of gift creates memories and more meaningful life experiences. Some can even help others step out of their comfort zone and grow as people.

I hope you truly consider giving the gift of experiences to your loved ones this holiday and if you are going to purchase things, try and shop for local items that are created by humans, not robots. Sleep in on Friday and go out for small business Saturday.
