Today’s walk ended at a local breakfast place called Christy’s Kitchen
Of course I order the pancakes to judge!

Service- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ they accommodated our big party and the server was great and friendly!

Pancakes- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2
Light, fresh blueberries and real maple syrup. I like my pancakes a little less done but the taste was still good.
Great place to grab a meal!

Follow along with us as Kristie Attardi, friend and follower of ETJ shares her top 3 tips on traveling with teens to Charleston, SC for spring break!

Top 3 Things to Do

1. Salt Marsh Adventure through tidelinetours.com. A 2 hour boat ride through the waterways off Folly Beach. We saw dolphins, a mink swimming, and numerous species of birds. We stopped at Morris Island for 1/2 hour to look for shells and see the lighthouse (featured in the OBX tv series). Our tour guide even knew where many scenes were filmed in the series and showed the girls !

2. Boone Plantation- We booked this tour for the learning experience and to keep our teens interested because we found out parts of The Notebook were filmed here. Once we arrived, there was so much history to learn and things to do that the movie shots took a back seat. We walked through the slave cabins, each highlighting a different part of that history. We took a tour of the Boone mansion and a trailer ride through the grounds. We all loved it!

3. Charleston Carriage Ride-We took an hour tour through the streets of Charleston learning about the history of the city. The architecture is beautiful and our tour guide had such interesting information to share!

Follow along this week as friend of ETJ, Kristie Attardi, shares her family spring break trip to Charleston, SC with us!

Charleston and Folly Beach, SC

We chose this location because we heard from some friends that it was a great place to visit.

Having teenagers, we were concerned they’d be bored, but they loved it! We stayed for 4 days and each day had one event booked and one dinner reservation. The girls Loved all the events and enjoyed having down time. There is so much to explore that we enjoyed our downtime just as much as the events.
