Should you stay at a brand new resort or let other guests work out the kinks?

New resorts can come with some perks including possible better pricing. BUT there can also be delays, ongoing constuction, unfinshed landscape and amenities that aren’t quite ready yet.

Parents of kids, this Cancun resort deserves a spot on your list!

Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach is a great option for families with kids under 10/12 years old. If you're looking for a beautiful beach, a great kids' club and a little time for mom and dad too!

If you're traveling with teens, this resort probably isn't the best fit for your family.

The best vacation isn't always about booking the trendy resort, it's about finding the RIGHT one for your family!

Wondering if the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana is the right all-inclusive resort for your vacation to the Dominican Republic?

If you want a relaxed, quiet escape, I would not be recommending this resort to you. But if you want a family friendly resort with energy, entertainment, activities and a lot to do, this could be a great fit.

That's the part you can't always figure out from a google search or online reviews. The right resort isn't just about the beach or the amenities, it's about how you want your trip to feel.

You've done the Sandals honeymoon and now with kids you're considering going to Beaches. The choice between Beaches Negril and Beachs Turks & Caicos isn't as simeple as it might seem.

Both are amazing options, but the size, airport transfers and overall fee are very different.

Today is Walt Disney World’s 55th Anniversary! This pic was taken at Epcot in ‘83. Literally the only photo I could find of me on property at WDW as a kid. Obviously we lived in the moment and didn’t believe in taking a million photos back then.

Little did I know that Disney would become such a big part of my life. Fast forward and now I get to help families plan their Disney vacations and create their own magical memories.

I think 1983 me would be pretty excited about what was coming. Funny how life works out sometimes.

Happy 55th Walt Disney World! Here’s to 55 years of magic, memories and MUCH better photographic documentation 😆
