I'm back from our cruise but I haven't even touched on all of the great photos.

Alaska is a beautiful cruise even when it rains. The sun was brilliant on our last day onboard and suddenly all of the lounge chairs appeared! โ˜€๏ธ

Some cruises to Alaska are round trip out of Vancouver while others use Seattle as their base. You can even start in Whitaker, Alaska and end in Vancouver (or vice versa).

How does this make you feel?

During the last half of the day in Skagway, Alaska, another cruise ship was backing away from the pier as the mist took over (watch til the end).

Oddly, the cruise ship never plastered its horn while disappearing into the mist, so it gave the entire atmosphere an interesting sensation.

Even when the weather does not cooperate perfectly, Alaska is still an amazing place to visit. Whether it be whale sightings, watching the mist engulf the ships, or the sound of rain on the ocean... it's a great experience.
