Sharks Templar Providing shark fishing experiences for Veterans since 1999.

Sharks Templar has been providing free shark fishing excursions for Military Veterans and First Responders since 2000. We currently are partnered with the Veterans organization Project Zero Alliance and have been for the last few years. Our mode of operation is setting up camp for a weekend on a designated beachfront and fishing from the beach. Sharks Templar provides all the bait and equipment and we work diligently to provide our guests the opportunity to catch the fish of a lifetime.

You know, it really says a lot when you can go through all the hard prep work & long hours of set up time for a trip, GET SKUNKED, and still come home feeling like you had a great trip. We normally catch a lot of sharks during the fishing season but we occasionally have trips like this past weekend where the sharks just don’t show up. It happens. The great thing about the Project Zero group is, catching a bunch of sharks is great & all but it’s not even required for a good time. It’s more about the adventure, the laughs, & the camaraderie. Every single trip has an epic story! Never a dull moment. To any veterans or first responders out there feeling trapped in a life situation, stop what you’re doing right now and check out The Project Zero fb page. was a blast this weekend! And yes, as many have already said, it lives up to the name…it’ll beat you right on down. Lost a big ol crazy acting lemon in the middle of the night & still managed to have a great time. Course, we had the best company and great food/drinks, so that sure helped. First class tournament all the way around though! Couldn’t ask for better. Special thanks to Lukey, Ty, Ashley, Bailey, and the rest of the Beatdown crew for running such a fine event! Allen Parker is the hardest working runner on the beach! That dude never stops. Yall’s hard work is noticed and appreciated. Congrats to all the winners & especially our buddy Steve Callaway and his right hand man Johnny Hamm with Gulf Coast Yaker’s LBSF Charter! Oh and last but not least, special shout out to The Project Zero for bringing the constant action element to the tournament! Those guys made it happen in the middle of some adversity for sure. Toughest guys on the beach💪
