I can’t believe it took me this long to ride Tower of Terror! 🤯

For years, I convinced myself it wasn’t for me. On our last trip, I finally decided to give it a chance… and I absolutely loved it!

From the moment you walk into the hotel, the details and atmosphere pull you right into the story. Then comes the ride itself… let’s just say I went from nervous to completely hooked.

I ended up riding it three times in one day! 😂

It’s now one of my favorite attractions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

💡 Disney Tip of the Day

Did you know that if you’re staying at a Disney Resort hotel, parking at the Disney theme parks is included during your stay? 🚗✨

That means if you drive to Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, or Animal Kingdom from your Disney Resort, you won’t pay for standard theme park parking.

While Disney transportation is a great option, having the flexibility to drive can be helpful for some families—especially with little ones, strollers, or dining reservations.

Chef Mickey’s is a high-energy character dining experience located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort—just steps from Magic Kingdom.
It features a buffet with classic comfort foods, larger-than-life character interactions, and one of the most iconic dining rooms on property.
Perfect for families, first-timers, and anyone who wants to kick off their Disney trip with Mickey himself. My family absolutely loved it. It was the perfect way to meet the core characters without standing in line.

I wish I could start every morning this way—quiet park, cool air, and a slow glide on the PeopleMover.

Disney snacks just make me happy 🐭✨

We tried the Mickey-shaped bacon pecan caramel cinnamon roll from Westward Ho in Magic Kingdom and WOW. $8.49 and 100% worth it. Sweet, sticky, and perfectly Disney.

Of course we also had to get the classics — Mickey pretzels for us and a Mickey ice cream bar for my son (because that’s basically a Disney rite of passage).

If it’s Mickey-shaped, we’re eating it.

💫 Walt Disney World Resort Spotlight 💫

Disney All Star Sports

We recently stayed here for 3 nights taking advantage of the Disney Chase Credit card promotion.

Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort surrounds you with bold, oversized sports décor—from football and basketball to surfing and tennis—creating a fun, high-energy stay that’s perfect for families.

We stayed on the first floor of Building 9 and were right in front of the Grand Slam Pool (pictured below), which was such a great location.

This was actually our first time staying at a Disney resort on property (we’ve camped many times at Fort Wilderness before). The standard room sleeps up to 4 adults and includes one queen bed plus a queen-size Murphy bed.

The room does feel a little small at first, however the storage under the bed made it easy to tuck our luggage away and keep things organized. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be staying here again.
