If you've been saying, "We should do Universal someday," this is your sign.

2027 Universal Orlando packages are officially available, including dates through April 30, 2027.

I expect demand to remain strong with Epic Universe in the mix, so early planners will have the most options for resorts, room categories, and vacation packages.

I ran a real quote for a group of four friends on a girls trip sailing Celebrity Beyond in April 2027.

They were admiring the Retreat but assumed it was way out of their budget.

So I compared two options:

• Two Edge Infinite Verandas
• One Sky Suite with The Retreat

To make it a fair comparison, I added estimated costs for Premium Wi-Fi and the Premium Drink Package (based on known averages) to the Infinite Veranda option since those are things many travelers want anyway.

The difference? $94 per person.

Here is the key to how that number gets so close: the Sky Suite already includes the Premium Drink Package and Premium Wi-Fi. Once you factor in what you were already planning to spend, the real price difference between the two options shrinks considerably.

Every sailing is different, and this number will not look the same for every group. Cruise pricing is dynamic, and the drink package and wi-fi costs used in this comparison are estimates since those packages have variable pricing and your numbers may look different.

But sometimes the suite is closer than you think. And you won't know until someone runs the numbers for your specific sailing.

This resort is at the very top of my Disney bucket list.

I have visited Disney's Polynesian Resort many, many times over the years, but I still have yet to actually stay there myself. Every single time I walk through the lobby or grab a drink at Trader Sam's, I think, “one day.”

There is just something about the Polynesian. The atmosphere, the location, the views of Magic Kingdom, watching the fireworks from the beach, the monorail access. The Poly has peak vacation vibes in a way that is hard to explain unless you have been there.

On May 26, Walt Disney World is dropping one of its biggest days of new experiences in years.

A reimagined Soarin'. Rock 'n' Roller Coaster goes full Muppets. The new Walt Disney Studios at Hollywood Studios. Bluey and Bingo at Animal Kingdom. Plus a summer-long Cool Kids' Summer and both water parks open.
