Gilda's Bakery is one of our favorite breakfast places in Boyne City. They have amazing baked goods and love their scones and berry tarts, but our absolute favorite thing to get is their crepes! Gilda's is known for their crepes and there's a reason...they are the best you've ever had! From savory to sweet, there is something for everyone!

Boyne City's Annual Morel Mushroom Festival is such a fun weekend full of activities, tasty eats, live music, and of course... mushrooms! Best of all, all the festivities are less than 1/2 mile from our vacation rental!l Make sure you plan ahead for next year!

We had an amazing Farmer's Market this weekend in Boyne City. The Farmer's Market is just one of the awesome events that Boyne City has to offer and you can check it out Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8 am to noon!

Most people think skiing when they hear Boyne City. But Boyne City isn't just a ski destination. Summer in Boyne City is electric with weekly and annual events full of music, entertainment, and festivals. Lake Charlevoix is absolutely stunning and our favorite way to spend our summer days! Our home is just 1 block from Lake Charlevoix, 1/4 mile from the boat launch, and walking distance to all the downtown shops, dining, and events! Petoskey, Charlevoix, and Bay Harbor are just a short drive away! Dates are booking up fast!

Dreaming about summer and spending our day out on the lake! Lake Charlevoix was voted the best swimming lake for a reason! It's clean (no seaweed or swimmer's itch) and absolutely stunning!

Now is the perfect time to book your water park weekend getaway! Avalanche Bay is a favorite of ours with awesome slides, lazy river, and the thrilling flowrider where you can boogie board or even try to surf! They also have an epic arcade! Your kids will have a blast! Avalanche Bay is just an 8 minute drive from Husky Retreats!

Our last snowboarding trip of the season! The boys are doing so well learning to snowboard and progressing their skills. Not going to lie though, we're ready for summer and lake life!

24-36" of snow this weekend and we are excited! The snowmobile trails were the best they've been and soooo much fun! Comment if you're excited for the snow or want winter to be over!
