The following arrests highlight the ongoing work of the Boynton Beach Police Department’s Human Exploitation Unit. Our goal is simple - combat exploitation, protect our community’s most vulnerable, and hold individuals who commit crimes accountable.
• 60-year-old Paul Dominguez was arrested on April 1 for traveling to Boynton Beach to meet who he believed was a 14-year-old boy. Dominguez confessed and was charged with Traveling to Meet a Minor, Transmission of Materials Harmful to Minors, Unlawful Use of Two-Way Device, and Solicitation of a Minor to Engage in Sexual Conduct.
• 37-year-old Treymon Goldwire was arrested on April 15 for traveling to Boynton Beach to meet who he believed was a 14-year-old boy. Goldwire confessed and was charged with Traveling to Meet a Minor, Transmission of Materials Harmful to Minors, Unlawful Use of Two-Way Device, and Solicitation of a Minor to Engage in Sexual Conduct. Goldwire is currently on probation for armed robbery.
• 46-year-old Michael Lentz was arrested on May 20 for soliciting Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) from who he believed was a 15-year-old boy. Lentz is a registered Sexual Offender with FDLE on federal probation for possession of CSAM. Lentz was taken into federal custody, where he provided a confession. He was subsequently charged with six violations of supervised release, five felony counts related to failure to register as a s*x offender and other registration violations, as well as Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communications Device and Solicitation of a Minor to Engage in Sexual Conduct.
• 38-year-old William Ressler was arrested on May 20 for Transmission of Materials Harmful to Minors, Unlawful Use of Two-Way Device, and Solicitation of a Minor to Engage in Sexual Conduct. Ressler began chatting with who he believed was a 14-year-old girl in September. During the chat, Ressler set-up a meet with the girl at a local hotel.
Online exploitation is real. Parents and guardians should stay alert for warning signs like unexplained money, older relationships, unexplained travel, or sudden behavior changes. Report suspicious activity to the Boynton Beach Police Department at 561-732-8116.
