I went into my Silversea cruise excited to experience the brand firsthand…and I came home really impressed. ❤️

There’s luxury cruising—and then there’s the way Silversea does luxury. It was literally the best ocean cruise experience I’ve ever had.

The smaller ships, beautiful all-suite accommodations, incredible food, personalized service and attention to detail made such a difference. And having a butler for every suite? I could definitely get used to that! 😂

WOW. 😍 I’ve seen a lot of beautiful cathedrals throughout Europe, but La Seu Cathedral in Palma, Mallorca absolutely blew me away.

⛪️ Pictures truly don’t capture how incredible it is when you walk inside—the soaring ceilings, massive columns and especially the stained glass! ✨

⛪️ The huge Rose Window, known as the “Gothic Eye,” is almost 45 feet across and contains more than 1,200 pieces of stained glass. When the sunlight pours through it, the colors fill the cathedral and it is absolutely breathtaking.

✨And a fun fact I didn’t know before visiting, Antoni Gaudí, famous for Barcelona’s Sagrada Família, also worked on renovations inside La Seu in the early 1900s.

This was one of those travel moments where I just stood there thinking… I can’t believe how beautiful this is. ❤️

👉 If you’re ever in Palma, put La Seu Cathedral at the top of your list. It is truly something you need to see in person! 🇪🇸✨.

🇫🇷 Toulon → Aix-en-Provence

Today our cruise brought us to Toulon, a Mediterranean port city known for its major French naval base, picturesque harbor, Provençal markets and mountains rising behind the city.

From there, we headed into the heart of Provence to Aix-en-Provence—and it’s exactly what you picture when you think of southern France. 🌿💜 Tree-lined streets, fountains, outdoor cafés, beautiful old buildings, boutiques and local markets.

This is one of the things I love about cruising you can wake up in a port like Toulon and spend the day exploring an entirely different town and region.

Another beautiful day experiencing France & Provence firsthand—and another destination I can share with my clients. 🇫🇷❤️.

🇲🇨 Checking another country off the list… Monaco!

Today I had the chance to visit Monaco, and what a beautiful little country it is! Tucked along the French Riviera, Monaco may be tiny, but it packs a lot into a very small space.

We saw the famous Monte Carlo Casino, the luxury yachts filling the harbor and the beautiful Monaco Cathedral, where Prince Rainier III and Grace Kelly were married in 1956. 👑 We also got to ride along the actual streets that become part of the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix circuit—so fun to see them in person and imagine race cars flying through those same narrow streets!

And of course, as a travel advisor, I’m never just sightseeing. I’m always paying attention to the location, logistics, what’s worth seeing and how I would plan the experience for my clients. There’s simply no substitute for experiencing a destination firsthand.

Monaco makes a wonderful day trip while visiting the French Riviera—and it’s one of those places that’s fun to experience at least once!

✈️ 5 travel essentials I NEVER want to fly without!

After a lot of flights, I’ve learned that a few small things can make a big difference in how comfortable (and prepared!) you feel while traveling.

Here are 5 things that always make my carry-on list:

✈️ Neck pillow – Especially on those long or overnight flights. Anything that helps me actually sleep on a plane is coming with me!

🧦 Compression socks – Not glamorous, but definitely one of my travel must-haves for long flights. My legs feel so much better when I wear them.

🔋 Phone charger – Between boarding passes, airline apps, maps, photos and entertainment, your phone is basically your travel lifeline. I never want to land with a dead battery!

🔌 Converter/adapter – If you’re traveling internationally, check what your destination uses BEFORE you leave. And remember—an adapter and a voltage converter aren’t necessarily the same thing!

🥿 Foldable slippers – One of my favorite little travel luxuries! I use them on the plane and then toss them in my bag to wear around the hotel room.

They don’t take up much room, but all 5 can make traveling so much easier and more comfortable.

This month I’m celebrating 7 years as a travel advisor, which honestly has me thinking about how much this business of mine has grown and how grateful to God I am for that. ❤️

And one thing has been true almost from the beginning…

My repeat clients, friends, and referrals have been such a huge part of growing my business from the start.

Planning a trip to Italy sounds easy… until you actually start planning one. 🇮🇹

🇮🇹 There are so many incredible places to see, and figuring out where to go, how long to stay, where to stay, how to get from city to city, and what needs to be booked ahead can quickly become overwhelming—especially if it’s your first trip.

🇮🇹 I just finished planning a 14-day Italy itinerary for a couple who has never been, and my goal wasn’t simply to fit as much as possible into two weeks. It was to create a trip that flows well, gives them time to actually enjoy each destination, and includes those special experiences that will make their first trip to Italy unforgettable.

🏨That meant researching the right hotels and locations, coordinating trains and transfers, choosing tours and experiences, and making sure all the little pieces work together from the moment they arrive until the day they fly home.

👉 Italy is one of those destinations where good planning can make a huge difference. You can absolutely plan it yourself, but if you’re spending thousands of dollars on a bucket-list trip, having someone who knows how to put all those pieces together can save you hours of research and help you avoid costly mistakes.

And this is one of my favorite parts of being a travel advisor. ❤️

✨ I’m getting excited to be heading out to the French Riviera & Spain with SilverSea Cruiselines this week!✨

I was invited by my host agency to sail on Silversea and learn more about their brand, so I took them up on the offer!
While I’m definitely looking forward to the beautiful ports along the French Riviera and Spain, this trip is also about something I believe is so important as a travel advisor, experiencing the brands I recommend firsthand.

How much do you know about Silversea? You may be surprised to learn that Silversea is part of the Royal Caribbean Group and represents its ultra-luxury cruise brand. But the experience is very different from a traditional large-ship cruise!

I don’t know about you, but I could really use some cheap flights in my life. ✈️😂

Today is National Cheap Flight Day, but what does that really mean?

✈️ Despite the name, it doesn’t mean airlines suddenly slash their prices for one day. National Cheap Flight Day marks the time of year when airfare has traditionally started to drop as the busy summer travel season winds down.

A few things to know:

✈️ It’s not a one-day flight sale. Don’t feel pressured to book something today just because it’s “Cheap Flight Day.”

🍂 Fall can bring better airfare. With kids back in school and summer vacations ending, demand often drops—especially for travel in September and October.

📅 Flexibility is still one of the best ways to save. Shifting your travel dates by even a day or two can sometimes make a big difference.

💻 Compare before you book. Check different dates, nearby airports, and even one-way fares on different airlines.
✈️ Never book with third party sites like Expedia, Kayak etc. You lose flexibility and points you could be gaining.
✈️ Don’t wait until the last minute- flight prices go up and you lose the best seat options.

And remember: the cheapest flight isn’t always the best value. Once you add baggage fees, seat assignments, inconvenient connections, or a terrible departure time, that bargain may not look quite as good.

✈️ So yes, I’m all for celebrating National Cheap Flight Day—just don’t expect a magical sale to appear today! 😉
