The last day on the Tour des Combins started out wet, but we never got rained on. The hanging clouds were mystical and there were some fun stretches of running after the big climb and then the tram back down to Le Chable. A great way to end our Tour des Combins!

Wow. Just an amazing Day 5 up through the Lacs de Fenêtre with views of Mont Blanc and the lakes and then over exciting and exposed Col du Bastillon with a fiery finish for dinner at Auberge de Charmettes.

WOW! Tour des Combins started wild and wonderful! The peacefulness of the trails provide a refreshing contrast to the Tour du Mont Blanc. And, the first day did not disappoint! Amazing ruggedness, scale, huge glaciers and breathtaking swinging bridges. And it’s only the first day!
