One of my favorite times to visit Disneyland is the week between Christmas and New Year’s. The decorations are still up, the parks feel extra magical, and it’s such a fun way to wrap up one year and start another.

I priced out a week in Hawaii for a family of 4 at Aulani, Disney’s resort on Oahu, and honestly, it was less than I expected.

I may be the one planning the Disney vacations, but let’s be honest… my kids are the real experts.

So I asked them a simple question:

“If you could only ride one ride in each Disney park, what would it be?”

Some answers were exactly what I expected. Others surprised me.

What I love most is that not every favorite was the newest ride. Some of the classics still made the list, proving that Disney magic looks a little different for everyone.

Disney at Christmas is crowded. Busy. Expensive.
And somehow still completely worth it.

The music on Main Street. The giant trees. The holiday fireworks. The feeling that everyone slows down for a little while and just enjoys being together.

These are the trips my kids will remember forever. And honestly? So will I.
